NIT Durgapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Since I am from chemical engineering I will be talking only about my branch. The placements are excellent in the senior most batch. Out of 60 students 34 were placed in the 7th semester. So you can imagine what would be the stats in the next one. The package on an average were above 6 LPA.

Placements: We have a very good faculty. And we have around 70% placement record in our stream. Coming to top recruiting companies we have oracle and amazon.

Placements: About 75.56% of the students from our course got placed in the year 2018-19. The salary packages offered are not revealed by the institute. Internships and placements totally depend on the capability of the students. Students did an internship in Canada through Mitacs, CERN Geneva, and many students got an offer in Lucrative.

Placements: Placements provided for the civil department at National Institute of Technology, Durgapur are below average. Students mostly get placed in IT companies. The placement rate for our department varies from 40%-60%. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA-5 LPA.

Placements: Nearly 60% of students have been selected in 2019 and most of them are core related few are coding related placements many core companies have come to our campus for recruiting process of students and other department's recruiting companies also took students from our metallurgical department who know coding.

Placements: Around 60 to 70 percent got placed. The number is increasing as per the trends. The highest package can go around 20 lacs, the lowest may surge down to 6 to 7lacs. Average is around 10 to 12lacs. Companies like CESC, L&T, BHEL, RIL, TATA, CAPEGEMINI, etc. Recruits from EE specific fields. But many students also get placements from IT companies and companies like Qualcomm as well.

Placements: About 70% of the students were placed from our course through on-campus selection. Some other students got placed through off-campus and GATE interviews. The highest salary package offered is about 18 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the average salary package offered is about 6 to 7 LPA. Placements: 70% to 95% of students placed in course. The lowest package 1 lac the highest packege 4.5 lac. ITI, TCS, Honda, Tata are the top recruiting companies in this course. Students get 85% from this course from Tata company. HR, Manager, Assistant manager top roles offered in this course.

Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed through college. Civil department placements are slightly less than any other departments of the college. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 34 LPA. Many IT companies offered a salary package of up to 34 LPA. Placements: Almost 70 to 80 percent of students were placed in my course, The highest package is 41 lakhs which is given by adobe the average package is 8 lakh to 15 lakh and the minimum package is 4 lakh in M.Tech The recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft. Maximum of the student got an internship in Intel TCS etc.

Placements: You know BIO-TECHNOLOGY students do not get more jobs in their core as India is not up to mark in term of BIO-TECHNOLOGY. This year till now only 2 students were placed out of 28 student as others mostly concentrating in their research. Average package is 6 Lacs in management field but not in core. Not much intern are available for this branch.

Placements: Almost 75-80% of the students get placed from campus. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA exactly, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered varies between 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Qualcomm company is the top recruiting company in our college. Manager in the corporate company is the role offered. Placements: In total 70.03 percent of B.Tech students has been placed of NIT DURGAPUR ;companies like INFOSYS, HMEL, ADITYA BIRLA, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES has taken most of my branch students and overall means INFOSYS, WIPRO, KPIT, CAPGEMINI,. Placements: Almost 72% of the students were placed through on-campus placements this year. About 22% of the students prefer to pursue M.Tech and PSUs. The highest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 0.36 LPA and the average salary package offered is 0.65 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Tata Metallics and CESC. Top roles offered to the students are manager posts in Tata Metallics. Placements: About 60 to 70% of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered is about 8 to 10 LPA, the average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 3 to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Saint Gobain, Reliance, Line India, L&T and Haldia Petrochemicals Limited.

Placements: About 80-90% of the students are placed in the ECE course. The highest and lowest salary depends on the company. In my opinion, it's around 15 Lacs and the lowest will be 4.4 Lacs. The average salary is about 5-6 Lacs per annum. The percentage of students who got an internship is 70%. Most of the students apply online in different websites such as intershala.

Placements: Core placements are very less as compared to some other NITs. At last 60 to 70% of the students got placed either in core or software. The average salary package offered is about 9 to 10 LPA. None of the companies visited here to offer internships. Top recruiting companies of our college are Jindal Steel, etc.

Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys are the top recruiters. 4. Programmer, cider, management were the roles offered. 5. The lowest package is 4.5 LPA. 6. Around 60 percent people do internship.
