Placements: This year, placements have been good. The placements in mechanical engineering are satisfactory. Many students got placed with an average package of 8-9 LPA. Companies like Code Nation, Capgemini, etc., offered packages above 20 LPA. Some tech companies allowed mechanical students to sit for the coding round, but the percentage of that was very less.

Placements: Around 80% of students get placed in our batch. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, Qualcomm, Intel, Samsung, and Nokia hire EE students. Top recruiters are TCS, Google, Amazon, Infosys, and IBM. Many core companies like Mahindra, Hero, and many others recruit students.

Placements: In the CSE department, on an average, 92% students get placed almost each and every year. Since the college focuses more on research so many guys go for further studies and don't sit for placements. The highest package is offered by ATLASSIAN (57 LPA) and the lowest may be any mass recruiter (approximately 4 LPA). Placements: Placements were good in our college. The highest salary package offered was 57 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed in the CSE branch, and almost 94.69% of students got placed in the ECE branch. Many companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Qualcomm, etc., visited our college to hire students.

Placements: In the year 2020, approximately 82% of our students were placed in chemical engineering at our college. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 7.52 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Jio, Accenture, Tata Consultancy, Hero Motocorp, and Reliance Industries visited our campus. Approximately 30–40% of students got internships in various companies in chemical engineering.

Placements: Students get eligible for placements from seventh semester and for internships from 5th semester. Companies offered placements in 2020 were TCS, Infosys, Codenation, Samsung, R&D, Wells Fargo, Amazon, Qualcomm, Capgemini, Google India, and many reputed companies which were around 116. Placements: Placements provided in our college were great. A lot of companies and organisations visited our campus to offer placements for students throughout the year. All kinds of roles were offered. Internship opportunities were provided. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA to 18 LPA and the average salary package was 6 LPA. Placements: From the seventh semester onward, students become eligible for placements. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Google India, and many other companies visit here. A total of approximately 116 companies visited here. About 460 students were offered placements. Around 82% of students got placed.

Placements: Almost 55% of students got placed. Some IT companies allow them to sit. Top recruiting companies like ZS, Infosys, Wipro, PWC, TCS, HSBC, Capgemini, etc. Internships are available for students. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. Lowest salary package offered is 4.8 LPA and average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA.

Placements: Around 10% of students of our course are placed in different companies. Top recruiting companies are Vedanta, Reliance Industries Limited, Wipro, etc. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA.

Placements: Placements are good for computer science students. It is difficult for the students to get placement, those who are studying in other core branches.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. The highest salary package is 15 LPA, median salary package is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting company is Tata steel. Around 90% of students got internships in various core and tech companies.

Placements: This year NIT Durgapur Chemical Engineering's percentage of placement was 89%. The highest package for chemical Engineering is 12 LPA CTC. The average package for chemical Engineering is 7.5 LPA CTC. Top recruiting companies Tata chemical, Reliance, Vedanta, Jindal Steel, SAIL, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. Top roles get in chemical engineering, data analysis, software Engineer, etc.

Placements: Around 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary pacakge offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 7 LPA - 7.5 LPA. Reliance, Deloitte, Capgemini, Wipro, L&T, HUL, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Almost 50-60% of students get internships in DRDO, IOCL, HPL, etc., for the IT sector like software developer, data analyst business analyst, data science, and for a core sector like refineries, etc.

Placements: The passing batch had a overall placement percentage of 83.5%. The highest package offered this year is 57.28 LPA and the average package is 11.54 LPA. Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, TATA etc., are major recruiters. A great number of students got internships in established companies.

Placements: In our batch, 2018-2022, around 85-90% of students got placed. The highest package offered is around 20 LPA offered by PSUs and IT companies, and the lowest package goes around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Capgemini, PWC, Deloitte etc. Mostly IT-based companies offer more internships. Top roles offered are SDE, consultant, senior manager etc.

Placements: Around 75% of students are placed, as our college is more focused on higher studies. Also, college is improving in every sector. In 2020 NIRF is 49 but in 2021 it jumps to 29, in 2022 also NIRF rank will also improve. In 2021, the average salary package offered is 11.45 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 44 LPA. Placements in the lower branch are not good, and they get placed in some tech companies.

Placements: About 70% of students got placed this year. The highest package offered is 19 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, L&T, Cipla, Bharat Biotech etc. At least 60 to 70% of students got internships in many companies like Cipla, Johnson and Johnson, IIT Roorkee, IIT Delhi, Bharat Biotech etc. Top roles offered are DSA, biochemistry, bioinformatics etc.

Placements: As I'm in civil branch, the placement record is not good. Around 50% of students got placed with the average salary package of 5 to 6 LPA. Most of the students in this branch opt for higher studies like M.Tech and also go for the general competition or preparation for UPSC. Civil has no good records in this college placement

Placements: Biotechnology is a research-oriented field and right now not many core companies are present who will provide placements, but this scenario is expected to change a lot for the good in the coming years. Some students develop strong skills that help them get placed in IT companies.
