In the mechanical department, the highest salary package offered is 9.5 LPA in core company and the average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Placements: Placement was satisfactory. 90% were placed. Some PSU also recruited. Most were placed in IT companies. The highest CTC was given by PSU. Software developer and analysts posts were offered by IT companies. UHG, BPCL, Samsung were among the top recruiters. Internship scenario is not so good.

Placements: Almost 98% of students got placed in which many of them got two placements offers. The highest salary package offered is 1. 62 crores. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 14 LPA. Previous year students got good jobs. An internship is necessary for third-year students. So students get busy in their internship.

Placements: I am currently pursuing M.Tech and will pass out in the year 2020. Almost 50% of students in our course already got placed. Placements: Placement at NIT Hamirpur at good at computer Science department which in 2019 is 1.2 crore the highest and in 2018 was 62.5 Lacs. Placements: Placements are really very good. Ample of opportunity is present in our college. Average package is about 6 Lacs maximum and minimum package is approximately 13 and 3 Lacs. Almost everyone got internship in my college. Every type of company visit my college.

Placements: Placement of final year student are quite good for Computer Science student having average pack of nearly 10 Lac p.a. For other branches it is less than above one. For civil and mechanical engineering student is 5-6 Lac p.a. For Electrical and ECE branch it is nearly above 6 Lac p.a. For remaining branches such as chemical are 4-5 Lac p. a Average student placed is about 89%. Recently in 2017 max package was 75 Lac.
