Placements: Overall, the placements were good for our batch (computer science). Various elite companies like Verizon, Oracle, Sapient, Belzaabar, Snapdeal, One97, MuSigma, Drishti Software, Nucleus etc., visited our campus for placements. About 95% of the students were placed through on-campus drives, and the rest were placed shortly after our batch was passed out. Many students secured more than one job from campus. Review of NIT Hamirpur - National Institute Of Technology (NITH).

Placements: Placements in our college are very good, especially in CS and electronics branches. Companies are visiting to offer placements for core branches as well but not frequently. Placements for our batch were good. All the students from ECE, CS and EEE branches got placed. Around 40% of the students got internships. Roles of a developer and system engineer were offered. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 1.5 Lacs, and the lowest stipend offered was Rs. 5,000.

Placements: Placements for our batch (civil branch) were decent. I got placed in KEC International through one of the on-campus drives. Almost 80% of the students from our batch got placed through on-campus drives. The rest were placed through off-campus drives. Our senior batch too had a decent placement experience. Companies like L&T, KEC, Godrej, Tata Housing, Punj Loyd, Aakash Institute, Ramboll, etc., visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered was around 7 LPA during our batc...

NIT Hamirpur is one of the best at infrastructure, but it's average at education and opportunities.

Placements: I would review the placements at NIT Hamirpur as decent. However, some very good and reputed companies like Sony Ericsson, Sapient, Oracle, DRDO, Samsung, MuSigma, Rancore, Belzaabar, Verizon, Polaris, Ford Car, Nucleus, Reliance, etc., visit the campus for placements. There was a scarcity for core companies for some particular branches. Reputed companies like Google, Microsoft, etc., never really visited mainly due to the hilly location of the college. Mass recruiter companies like Infosys, TCS...

Review of NIT Hamirpur - National Institute Of Technology (NITH).

Placements: Placements are quite good but not excellent as most of the companies do not come to the college because of its location. But if you are seeking for CSE or ECE, then you don't need to worry about placements as the previous records of these branches are mindblowing. However, we can't say anything about chemical engineering as it was newly introduced in our college.

The college has good infrastructure and well qualified faculty.

Placements: Placements are good. L&T is one major company that visits for civil engineers. Placement of our seniors were good. For CSE branch, the package offered was above 70 lacs per annum. There is a placement cell in our college. About 50-60% of our seniors were placed in L&T itself.

A good college that provides quality education.

Placements: The placement scenario of our college is fairly good and has improved a lot. Some companies hesitate to visit the college because of transport issues, but the issues have been resolved now. The average salary package offered for CSE students is around 6-7 LPA. Off-campus placement drives are also conducted.

The college provides great facilities but needs some improvement in academics.

Placements: Placements are good. Almost 70-75% of the eligible candidates get placed from computer science, electronics and mechanical departments. Placements for the students of electrical and chemical engineering are also good, but only a few students got placed. The major recruiters of our college are Maruti Suzuki, Vedanta, L&T, Juganoo, Samsung, Capgemini, Technip, Honda, GAP, Allen, Aakash, Oracle etc. The average salary package offered is about 6 LPA.

The infrastructure is the best, and there are a few flaws in the teaching system.

Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, almost half of the students in our batch were successfully placed. Placements for our seniors were slightly low. The highest package offered was 10 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package offered was 3.5 lakhs per annum. Companies that visited the college were Maruti, Honda, ISGEC, etc. Graduate trainee engineer role was offered to the students. One of the students got an internship from the college without stipend.

I don't find anything to complain about the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Approximately, 90% of the students from 2014-18 batch got placed. Companies like Samsung, HSBC, GAP, Oracle and Bosch visited our college. NIT has a TPO office which looks after the whole placement process. The companies offer salary packages ranging from 5 LPA to 20 LPA.

It is a mixed bag depending on how students use the available resources.

Placements: If you have skills, you will get ample opportunities here. Barring one or two companies like L&T, Technip, etc., core placements are not enough in the civil engineering branch. There isn't a very healthy culture to prepare for GATE, IES, and IAS exam. I mean, not many students participate in these exams. But if you want to prepare for these exams, the environment is quite free, and the climate also helps a lot. Library facility is decent. The placement policy can be improved.

The institute offers a lot of extracurricular activities for the growth of students.

Placements: Almost 96% of the students are placed in companies across the country, majorly, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Chennai. Students aren't given much encouraging tips to crack coding tests. Students have to work on being technically strong and having strong communication skills. Internship isn't something majority of the students start thinking about before they enter 3rd year.

Placements: Placements have been amazing so far, and the way dual degree batches have emerged in the past is commendable. Placements: The placement percentage is above 90% for all the core branches expect civil branch. The placement percentage of civil branch is around 50-70%. In 2018, the highest salary package is around 70 LPA for a CSE student, but that student got placed in off-campus placements. For civil, mainly L&T company visits the campus for placements, and I don't know about other branches. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA.
