Infrastructure is good, but there are some academic problems.

Placements: For non-core placements, there are no issues because many jobs are offered to students than the number of students present in the class. However, the main concern is core jobs which have reduced a lot due to the corona pandemic.

There is a fall of 13.06% in the number of offers made during NIT Hamirpur placements 2020 as compared to 2019. Overall, it has excellent infrastructure with good UG placements and less frequent local transport.

Placements: Until now, none of the students got placed in our course. Companies are not recruiting students due to Covid-19. The highest salary package offered was 14.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiters for our course are L&T and Qualcomm. Around 10-20% of the students got internships from our course in Amazon. Roles offered by companies in our course are a design engineer trainee, software developer and executive trainee.

The campus environment is outstanding for studies.

Placements: Only 11 students are there, but most of them opt for higher education. So, there are campus placements. Some of the recruiters came for the field of sales and construction, but that is irrelevant to the water resource department. So, it is not advisable if you are looking for placements.

Satisfied because of good faculty and placements every year.

Placements: Every year, about 30-40% of the students got placed from our branch, and the rest of the students prepare for civil services or other engineering exams. Many companies come here every year, such as Larson and Tourbo and other non-core companies. The average package offered is about 5 lakhs per annum.

Campus is good but overall it's just an average college.

Placements: Almost all the students were placed with an average package of 8-10 LPA. The highest package offered was 25 LPA and the lowest was around 4-5 LPA offered by mass recruiters. Internships were offered by Wipro. The top roles offered were web and app developers.

Our college provides really good infrastructure, great campus life and average faculty members.

Placements: About 99% of the students got placed from the ECE department of NITH. Most of the students got placed in software and IT sector companies. Students from ECE got open-source, industrial as well as research internships. Overall, the scope for placements for electronics students is huge and secure.

I'm not satisfied because of faculty members, placements and mostly no skill development, etc.

Placements: Around 45% of students get placed from college. The salary package offered by L& T was 6.5 LPA. Only 5 % of the students get the internship from good core companies. Almost all students get internships either from the district, state or abroad from some famous private companies and some government departments like PWD, etc.

Placements: About 75% of the students get placed from the electrical branch in NITH. The average salary package offered to vary from 3.20 LPA to 7 LPA. Few companies visit here, but most students go to the IT sector. Getting an internship is a little difficult, but you can get it.
