NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Placements here for CSE and ECE are above average, as expected from an NIT. Good companies visit here for tech and core both but like any other college, tech companies visit more which include companies like Amazon, etc. Companies also come for core branches.

Placements: Placements are 50% in NIT Hamirpur. Many students go for government jobs and many go for IT sector jobs. There is a low placement ratio in civil engineering but you have high chances to get a decent placement in civil engineering.

Placements: There were total 83 students which was eligible for campus placements, out of them 46 were placed. 55.42% students were placed. The highest package was 10 LPA. Wipro was the top recruiter whereas core placements are very bad. 90% students got internship in PWD department, which is a government internship. Placements: Placement are quite good for CSE this year many people got their dream job by off campus placement. In campus for CS placement are of 20-25 lkh and for other branch like electrical the highest package is around 15-16 lkh. Internship opportunity is not available for all students.

Placements: Almost 89.29% of students got placed in the year 2021-22 from the electrical engineering branch. The highest salary package offered was 17.8 LPA. Companies do not visit our campus for internships, and our college location makes it difficult for recruiters.

Placements: In the CS, almost 99% of students got placed but other branches' placements are not good. If you do hard work then you will be placed in top companies. The average salary package offered is 1 crore per annum. Internships are average in this course. Most of the students do coding and get placed in IT companies.

Placements: Almost all students are placed in Computer Science and engineering department except those who do startups. The highest placement was 1.5 crore LPA and average was around 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS Goldman, Sachs and many more. Most of the students are placed as software developer engineer.

Placements: Almost 80% of placements are for CSE and about 40% of placements are for core branches. The highest salary package offered is 2 CPA from off-campus. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 50% of students go for internships. Top roles offered are coordinators, internship secretary, class representative, etc.

Placements: In our college, almost 87% of students are placed in mechanical engineering. The highest salary package offered is 14.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bosch and Merchant Navy. Around 50% of students get internships in mechanical engineering. Top roles are offered in research and development and engineering and supervising.

Placements: About 30% of ECE students are placed. Placements are going well this year. Students got placed in companies like Amazon, Cred, etc. Placement statistics for some new branches introduced in the previous year are still awaited.

Placements: About 99% of students got placed this year. Many students got their dream packages. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 15-16 LPA. Around 5-6 students got placed in the same company, and most of the students got placed in the IT sector. If students have skills, they can get placements in good companies.

Placements: Top class placements are provided in the CSE branch. Last year, nearly 6 students got 1 crore+ packages. All other branches need to improve. This year, PPOs are going quite well for all branches. One myth we are hearing about this college is that the tech companies don't allow mechanical and chemical students to sit for interviews.

Placements: Till now in September 30% of ECE students are already placed. Placements are going well this year. Student got placed in companies like amazon, cred and etc. There are also some new branches introduce last year for which placement stats are still awaited.

Placements: From the seventh semester, the students become eligible for the campus placement. The highest package in civil engineering from NIT Hamirpur is 1500000 approximately. A student has to maintain a CGPA of 7 or above to get a chance in the placement drive. Internship opportunities are overall good. Placements: Placements are awesome in the college. However,not all the students get jobs and great packages. Only 1 out 10 students get excellent packages. Many of the students go for off-campus placements. One of my senior got 1.51 crore package off-campus.

Placements: In our college, about 50% to 60% of the batch are placed, and 20% to 25% go to government jobs and higher studies. More than 90 companies are visiting the campus. Top recruiting companies in our college are Deloitte, Capgemini, Oracle, and Paytm. Maximum roles are for software engineer, data scientist, and In public sector.

Placements: I don't know about the exact percentage but most of them were placed with average package of 6-8 L. P. A. Maximum packages were bagged by computer Science students and the packages were 151 LPA, 105 LPA, 112 LPA, etc. with their placements in big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google and many more.

Placements: The highest package offered in our branch is 10.5 LPA and the recruiting company is JSW. Placements in NIT hamirpur are really good as around 60-70 percent of students get placed every year. The average package is around 6-7 LPA and the highest package can go upto 20-25 LPA. Placements: At least 80% of the students get placed mark my word. The lowest package offered is up to 4.5 LPA and the highest is up to 1 CPA which is mostly given by companies like Google and Microsoft. The role is offered according to the individual knowledge and interview basis.

Placements: A total of 90% of students got placed in our course of CSE. The highest salary package is 1.09 CPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, IBM, Oracle, and Infosys. Most of the students got internships in the domains related to software engineering, data science, AI, and ML. About 75% of students got internships in our course.
