I am not happy because of a fully residential college life going through online sessions.

Placements: In this college, a good amount of great companies participate in the placements while offering an average salary of over 8.5 LPA in 2019-20, and the minimum salary package offered is 7.5 LPA in 2018-19 which also went up to the highest package received by the students being of about 42 LPA in 2019-20, and the average salary package offered is 40 LPA in 2018-19. So this college is good in accordance to placements.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top companies like Bajaj, Dell, Microsoft, SAP Labs, Direct PwC India, Goldman Sachs, HP, NCR Corporation, Oracle Apps, Cloud, Financial Services, Samsung Ericsson, PepsiCo, Coca Cola, Sapient, Lafarge India, Reliance Jio, Aakash Institute, Concept Educations, MySmartPrice, Mu-sigma, Affine Analytics, EXL Analytics, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Honda Cars, Honda Two Wheelers, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj, Futures First, JK Paper...

Good 2021 placements, somewhat dissatisfied with the faculty, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost everyone got placed last year from our department. The highest package was 45 lpa the lowest 3.5 lpa, average 10-12 lpa. Top recruiting companies were Samsung, Oracle, Microsoft, Myntra, Hyundai, Infosys, Vodafone etc. About 200 students were offered internship with the highest stipend being 1 lacs.

Really good for exploring interests and figuring out your future.

Placements: About 90% of the eligible students in this course were placed this year are rest had opted for higher studies, the highest package was 35 lpa and the lowest 5.5 lpa. Many companies including Qualcomm, Texas Instruments etc. In the core sector and Microsoft, Amazon, AWS etc. In the software sector recruit from here. More than half of the students get internships by the end of the year. In core roles include hardware engineer, system test engineer etc. and in software SDE etc.

NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology is a good college.

Placements: In NIT-R, the placements for the BM/BT departments are not as great as compared to all the other engineering branches. No BM-specific company visits our knowledge and most of the students opt for research-oriented careers. Some of the students who apply for placements usually get placed in IT companies or analytics companies. The same thing applies to internships as well. The research-oriented people mostly go to IITs and the software-related students try for the IT companies.

Placements: 85% of students got placed in this course who opted for placements. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3.5 LPA. The average package offered in this course is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Exxon Mobil, Bajaj, Tata Steel, TCS Innovator etc. Only a few students, around 10%, got internships as most of the companies do not offer any stipend. Overall, a good college with great and nice campus life.

Placements: Almost all students are placed. The highest CTC is around Rs 17-18 LPA, the lowest is around Rs 4-5 and the average is around Rs 7-8 LPA. Top recruits in IT and analytics. Less in the core. Less internship due to covid. But the majority in analytics and software. Roles offered are engineer trainee and software engineer.

Placements: Almost every student who has no backlogs got placed. Many students got a salary package as high as 42 LPA, and many students also got a salary package as low as 6 LPA in electronics. For above-average students with skills, it is not that difficult to get a salary package of more than 10 LPA because the electronics course has exposure to CS department jobs and electrical jobs also. So, it is good to be in electronics. Reputed companies visited our college even in the pandemic like Microsoft, Barc...

Placements: Almost all of the students got placed in analytical services rather than the core chemical engineering field. The covid crisis had a huge impact on the number of recruits. If you are getting admission in 7 IITs and top 5 NITs excluding NIT Rourkela, opt for them.

Placements: Placements are good, but they are not as much as they should be for computer science and engineering students. We develop ourselves for 2 years to get the seat and then develop here for 4 years. The average salary package offered in the last year was around 7 LPA.
