NIT Rourkela Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Approximately 98 percent of students who apply for placement are successfully placed upon graduation. The leading companies that recruited students last year included Amazon Web Services, Flipkart, Disney, Oracle, and VISA. The primary roles offered by these companies were predominantly Software Development Engineer (SDE).

Placements: 100% of the last batch last year was placed in any of the companies in electrical engineering; the highest package was 50 LPA and the lowest was 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Texas Instruments, JP Publications, Microsoft, Qualcomm, and NXP Semiconductors.

Placements: The computer science engineering department sees a hiring rate ranging from 90% to 95%. The salary package ranges from 3.5 LPA to 42 LPA, with an average of 15 LPA and the lowest being 3.5 LPA. Noteworthy companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Bajaj, and others frequently recruit for positions like software development and various roles.

Placements: Till January 2024, up to 75% of students are already placed in our branch, and the rest are also getting placed. Till now, the highest is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA in our branch. The top recruiting company is JSW, and many students are also interning from our branch.

Placements: There is 100 percent placement in NIT ROURKELA unless one has backlogs. Faculty members are top-class research scholars. They are very generous in guiding research backgrounds rather than focusing solely on academics. The highest package of 2023 was 35 Lacs/annum, the average package was 12 lakh/annum, and the lowest package was 4 Lacs/annum. Top recruiters were Vedanta, Shera, and Jindal Steel. Ninety percent of students got internships.

Placements: 91+% of students across all branches are placed at NIT Rourkela. There are around 16 branches and 21 departments in NITR; the highest package goes around 51 lacs, the lowest is about 3.5 lacs, and the average is around 14 lacs per annum. More placements are offered in software and analytics and consulting firms, mostly.

Placements: More than 90% of the students get placed at NIT Rourkela before their 8th semester, while some pursue higher studies. The highest package, offered by Microsoft, is 48 Lacs, with the lowest being 3.2 Lacs. The average package stands at around 14 Lacs. In the 3rd year, students undergo their internship sessions, and 50% of them secure internships. They typically secure roles such as GET (graduate engineering trainee), Data Analyst, and SDE.

Placements: Almost above 90% of students get placed through the placement drive at NIT Rourkela, as per the 2023 statistics, with about 315+ companies visiting the campus to offer jobs in different roles. The highest package, at 48 Lacs, is offered by Microsoft, while the lowest, approximately 6 Lacs, is offered by EXL Services. The average package stands at about 14 Lacs. Placements: Almost every deserving student got placed here, but for percent, I can say it is around 80~90%. The highest package is 83 LPA and the average is around 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies are QUALCOMM, Teradata, Google, Oneplus, Paytm, AR cesium and many more. Most students are hired for SDE.

Placements: Almost 90 percent of the batch gets placed in the placement drive. The highest package in the mechanical engineering department is 39 lacs, the lowest is 4.5 lacs, and the average is about 10.9 lacs. The top recruiting companies in mechanical engineering are TATA steel, BPCL ONGC, Axiom Mobile, etc. Around 50 percent of students get internships in there pre-final.

Placements: Placements in NIT rkl are good. Every year, maximum students get placed in their dream company. Companies like tata, bajaj, maruti suzuki, barclays, microsoft, etc. visit here and hire good students for both internships and placements. The highest package is 50 LPA.

Placements: Placements in my college are decent in all branches, and on-campus placements are there. Students become eligible for placements in the 7th semester, and many offers were made last year by more than 200 companies. On-campus internship opportunities are good, but the majority of students go for off-campus internships because, on campus, only 300 to 400 offers are made for internships! And many students don't get internships as well at times.

Placements: Placement season is going on. Till now 30% students got placed. In comparisiin to past years this year placement is quite low think because of recession. People are mostly in L and T. Average package is like 8 Lacs per annum. Till now the highest package in civil is 15 Lacs per annum.

Placements: We have nearly 100 percent placement in our college. The highest salary offers was 54 LPA And the lowest lies somewhere between 5-6 LPA. The average placement lies between 12.95 LPA. The top recruiters are JINDAL steel, Tata steel and GAIL. The non core sector include barclays, Google, and Amazon.

Placements: The mining course's average package in 2022 is INR 9.2 lacs; the highest was somewhere around INR 16 lacs, and the median was INR 8 lacs. Mining engineering in 2023 got 100% placement, which is very hard to achieve overall; placement at NIT Rourkela is good enough; and mining is rated after IIT Dhanbad.

Placements: Many students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 20 LPA. Many top companies like Byju's, Unacademy, etc., visit our college. Some students get internships.

Placements: 100% placement in mining engineering. Average package is 8 LPA, lowest is 3.5 LPA and the highest is 14 LPA. Top recruiters are coal india limited, vedanta, Tata, TCS and hindalco etc. No internships are available in this course.

Placements: All Students except going for higher studies are Placed with a record placement this year of 1500 + offers. The Average package is around 17.5 LPA, the lowest being 9LPA and the highest above 50 LPA. The college trains students for internship so most of the students get internships. Top roles are in software dev and other IT sectors.

Placements: The placement is good and many good companies give a good offer. The highest CTC was 58 Lacs which was grabbed by 25 students in NIT Rourkela and the average package was around 21 Lacs per annum. Most of the students get 13 Lacs per annum package was good in NIT.

Placements: NIT rourkela has a strong reputation for placements and it has consistently achieved impressive placements records over the years. The institute has a dedicated training and placements cell that actively works towards facilitating internship and job placements for its students.
