GATE Round 6 has been released for admission to the M.Tech courses. As per NIT Trichy cutoff 2023, the GATE Round 6 closing rank was 637 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science & Engineering. To join a three-year MCA course at NIT Trichy, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements of the course as stated on the official website of NIT. To pursue this full-time PG-level course at NIT Trichy, candidates are required to pass graduation with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics as one of the subjects. BTech in CSE at NIT Trichy is based on JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA Counselling. In case of vacant seats, CSAB Counselling is conducted for two special rounds post the JoSAA Counselling. Among all the BTech specialisation, CSE turned out as the most competitive course with a Round 1 closing rank of 1019 In comparison, the Round 1 cutoff for CSE was 1147 in 2023 and in 2022, the cutoff was 759 for the General AI category students.
