at NIT Trichy, Tiruchirappalli

NIT Trichy offers a two-year MSc course across four specialisations. This course is taught through the Department of Computer Applications, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. NIT Trichy accepts admission to MSc through the IIT JAM entrance exam, which is conducted by IITs for selection to MSc courses. The admission process gets completed with the CCMN Counselling round. Candidates must keep a close eye on the CCMN Counselling and prepare accordingly.

Candidates willing for admission to MSc at NIT Trichy must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the course in the first place. BTech in CSE at NIT Trichy is based on JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA Counselling. In case of vacant seats, CSAB Counselling is conducted for two special rounds post the JoSAA Counselling. During the NIT Trichy BTech cutoff 2024, the Round 1 closing ranks ranged between 1019 and 20340 for the General AI category students. Among all the BTech specialisation, CSE turned out as the most competitive course with a Round 1 closing rank of 1019 In comparison, the Round 1 cutoff for CSE was 1147 in 2023 and in 2022, the cutoff was 759 for the General AI category students. 

So, considering the three years cutoff data, candidates aspiring for NIT Trichy CSE admissions must secure a rank upto 1019 in order to be eligible in Round 1.
