NIT Trichy surely justifies its 11th rank in the NIRF ranking, and is good in all respects.

Placements: According to the seniors, placements are pretty good. Most of the students in the batch are placed. Computer science, EEE, and ECE students get the highest packages, and many students get CTC of more than 10 LPA. Big company names like Amazon and Microsoft visit the campus for placements. Some students get jobs in core companies while going for IT or management profiles. Only some good students secure an internship through college while others get them outside the campus. The average salary is a...

Good placements with good infrastructure.

Placements: The college provides 100% placements for almost all the departments regardless of the branch. There is a lot of scope for getting placed in the core as well as other companies. The highest salary offered for the students of my department ranges from 33 to 40 LPA. The lowest salary is around 40k to 50k per annum. Students are offered with various roles such as a manager, assistant, developer, analyst, marketing executive, and the consulting jobs. The stipend will be provided if a student is inter...

I had a lovely time in the college. Good infrastructure, ecosystem, people, etc.

Placements: The placements were mediocre for the architecture branch, but it improved this year with more companies coming forward. Even the companies which are not entirely related to the branch gave us the opportunities. Junior architect in LnT, a graphic designer in magazines, architect for civil companies like Nadel enterprises are some of the posts we were offered.

Placements: Placements are pretty good. Every year, it is almost 100% in terms of students who are getting placed. Companies from various diversifications visit our campus. Every student should go for a summer internship after completing their first year of MBA. Internships are also offered by the companies visiting the campus. The average salary in our department is 6.5 LPA.

NIT Trichy- The Mini-India

Placements: The placements in NIT, Trichy are quite good. Especially for the circuit branch students. In my senior batch of mechanical engineering, around 70% of the students sitting for the placements have been placed so far. There are some big companies visiting the campus like Maruti, Ford, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Honda and few biggies of the mechanical industry. The roles usually offered are Technical Engineer, Project Manager. Also, there are companies have the opening for data analyst profiles and te...

NIT Trichy- The Pride of India

Placements: Placements in NIT Trichy are on par with the old IITs and much better than many new IITs. It is because of the placements that NIT Trichy received the best employability and visionary idea award by FICCI. Placement season for B.Tech students starts in the beginning of the fourth year. Many talented students get their dream jobs and almost 95% of the students who apply for placements get selected. The highest salary offered is around 36-40 lakhs CTC for domestic and around $84,000 abroad. The low...

Overview of NIT Trichy and its facilities

Placements: I don't know about other branches' placements except for computer science engineering and electrical and electronics engineering. So in computer science, last year, 100% student placements occurred and the highest package was 36 lacs/annum. In the EEE branch also, 100% placements and the highest package was 32 lacs.

A really amazing experience that I'd love to live again. Most beautiful phase of my life yet.

Placements: The placements of our college were decent. The demonitisation and Mr Trump had a little effect on the companies visiting the campus as I believe. The profiles offered were pretty good. Some companies did offer management level profiles to the freshers. Quite a lot of data analytics and business analyst posts were offered on the campus. Some big recruiters like Microsoft, Qualcomm and Amazon, came for the recruitment process along with the PSUs like BPCL, ONGC, etc. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Mor...

Placements: The placement is being decent here. It is at no.2 placement wise among all NITs, the first was NIT Warangal and 3rd was NIT Jamshedpur. Placements for ICE, EEE and ECE reached 100 percent last year and achieved a new record. The lowest placement is for Civil and MME branch students. For CSE, the average salary goes above 10 LPA and for vote branches, the average remains between 6 to 7 LPA. The highest goes to a CSE student and in the last session, it was 27 LPA in Amazon. Placements: As it is an NIT, placement is always good, whatever branch it is. Though MCA is losing its craze, still NIT Trichy is able to maintain its repo. Placements are good for MCA. Almost 90% students get on-campus placements, They get an opportunity in most of the companies that visit the college. Some big names are Amazon, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Cisco.

Overall, a satisfying experience.

Placements: Placements were exceptionally well. With many private companies participating in the placements. Some mentions like Oracle, Wipro, Google etc. But in my batch, many opted for higher studies rather than placements. And got into many top colleges within India as well as in Abroad for their higher studies. In respect to internship, we have to try outside on our own.

Placements: The placement was good enough in our batch and for our juniors as well. We had everyone placed except 3-4 students by the end of the year. But, it was a little bad for our senior batch as around 10 students were not placed. Total strength of our batch was 67, out of which 63-64 were placed in some reputed organisations with a decent package. The average package for our batch was 6 lacs and the highest was 8.5 lacs.
