Our college has good infrastructure and facilities but dissatisfied with hostels.
Placements: Placements are fine but few companies like OIL IOCL, etc. come for placement. Students opt for internships during summer from pre-final and final years. Around 3 to 4 students got placement in OIL and IOCL with 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for classes is good with digital and air-conditioner facilities. The size of the accommodation is huge but the hostel is not good. The water leakage problem is there and is still not fixed which is very problematic during rainy days.
Faculty: Exams are not easy. Few teachers are helpful few are not but are qualified and knowledgeable. Students are thought based on the course they have chosen. The pass percentage is 6.5 CGPA. Attendance of 75% is required for writing exams.
Other: Campus surroundings are good. College is recommended for students who like sports and for NE students.

There is value for money, and it is a central university in the Himalayas.
Placements: Almost every student who searched for a job in our batch got one job, while others went to foreign or joined IITs for higher studies. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS and many more visit here for placements. Indian Army and some PSUs also visit the campus, but you need to be from the northeast region to be selected in those companies.
Infrastructure: Hostels are old but in good condition here. There is a total of 8 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. First-year students get their own hostel, and it is very good for them. You will love the serene view of the mountains. There is Wi-Fi for 24 hours and highly equipped labs. Good food is available 3 times a day.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified and very helpful. You just have to ask them anything after class. They also conduct doubts clearing sessions on Sunday. Attendance is compulsory. Semester exams are very good and neither very tough nor very easy. You have to study, and there is no other way.
Other: Sonabyss is our cultural fest, and an annual sports meet is organised. Racaf is another cultural fest, and the technical fest named Shristi is organised.

This college is value for money.
Placements: Around everyone who wants a job got placed and the rest of the students opt for M.Tech. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiter was Infosys and Power Grid. Indian Army and Airforce were also visited for SSB selection. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Smart Tech, and others also visit to hire students.
Infrastructure: Students will get very high-speed internet connectivity along with a college email ID. Hostels were old but still good to live in. Rooms were 2 sharing but will get a single room in final year. Football was the most prominent sport in this college and students will see regular sports tournaments.
Faculty: Like any other central government institution, our college also had very qualified teachers. They were helpful and depends on circumstances. The teaching quality was good. College courses were always revamped so it was relevant. Semester exams were difficult, students will feel the heat once they were in.
Other: I studied ECE and from classes for 2019.

Precisely, this was one of the best technical institutes in India. It had the best faculty members.
Placements: Placements in our college are up to the level. The placement percentage of our senior batch was better than our batch. The main problem of our college is that it is in Arunachal Pradesh. To visit AP, one needs to have ILP (inner line permit), and because of this reason, most of the companies don't visit our college to offer placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good. Every department has its building with a sufficient amount of space, classrooms, practical labs, faculty labs, and HOD chambers. Academic cell and administrative cell were separate and at a distance from the department classroom and practical labs. The library was very big, and it was full of books. Studying room facility was available in the college.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college were highly qualified and well-experienced in their field. They use good techniques to teach, and they explain the topics with examples. They try to relate the topics with practical life so that students can understand it better.
Other: NERIST is an institute where one can find diversity of culture. Every session, our college organised a tech fest and cultural programme. They celebrate the festivals and occasions of different religions of India.

Review of North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology.
Placements: Placements provided for the students of mechanical and electrical departments were good. IOCL and Power Grid, and the rest of the companies from IT-sector visited our college for recruitment. Our college needs to work more on the T&P cell. Priority has to be given to the permanent T&P officer, and the connectivity with the capital is poor, so it affects the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is still developing. The infrastructure was not good during my tenure. The digital library and new hostels will be of great advantage for the students now. Hope, it improves, and students can take advantage of it. Overall, it is going well.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were not bad. Our course curriculum needs to be updated as soon as possible. They are still stuck with radio and TV engineering. Practicals are needed to be taken more seriously. Students are not encouraged to take projects seriously both in diploma and degree level.
Other: Fests organised in our college were good with mass participation. The campus connectivity was poor.

A:

Yes, NERIST is also very good and is one of the top most college in Arunachal. Its fee is also lesser than the Arunachal University of Studies.
