Overall satisfied with campus facilities.
Placements: Every student who sits for placements gets a job opportunity in the company. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 4 LPA. Banking and management companies visit the college. Around 40-55% of students got their seats in placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are not very bad, but just average. Wi-Fi is available, but it is not very strong to reach the classroom. A library is available on the campus. The staff is very supportive and kind. The food is available for students. The canteen maintains hygiene.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. The teaching quality and teachers are above average. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult. They are neither easy nor tough somewhere easy. The passing mark for PU exams is 27 out of 80.
Other: I chose this course because of the opportunity available in the future.

Bad infrastructure, above average faculty, a bit expensive.
Placements: Average package in my course is about 5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting company, in my opinion, is Deloitte, where I too am placed for the role of Audit and Assurance. The lowest package is 3.4 Lacs per annum in Accenture, which is very low, and their placement process takes more than 1 month, which is unnecessary botheration.
Infrastructure: SD college should really emphasize on improving its infrastructure. Dirty washrooms, no Wi-Fi (but it is mentioned that it is available), suffocating classrooms in summers because there are no air conditions, and students are not civilized as they destroy the property.
Faculty: Some of the faculty is very rude, and some professors don't teach properly. Although there are some who are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the subjects are similar in every semester, so we study the same thing almost every semester. Business Studies subject of class 12th CBSE will be taught in every semester.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to pursue avenues in accounts subject. They should really add relevant subjects to the course other than teaching the same thing every time. 50% of the crowd is not civilized and very ill-mannered. College charges a very high fine compared to other colleges in Chandigarh for no reason.

I'm very dissatisfied with the placements which are provided by the college.
Placements: Honestly, MCM DAV College for women does not provide any good placements, even for the toppers; the placements that are provided are very low-quality. I would never prefer any college that does not provide good placements, especially for B.Com.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi at our college is of no use; it doesn't work anywhere except the library and celebration grounds. Classrooms are not well built; they are very suffocating in the summer, and the benches are very uncomfortable. It would be better if there were more fans in the classroom.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful while others are very rude. The exams are not that difficult; a person can easily pass them just by studying one month prior. It would be better if the teachers were more helpful and if there was more gap between the midterms and finalterms.
Other: MCM doesn't organize a lot of events and fests, and its very difficult to get the permission of our principal for anything and the receptionist is very rude.

Good college with facilities, poor campus .
Placements: Last year, almost 100% of the graduating class was placed, with Deloitte, ICICI, HDFC, and other major recruiters participating. This year, Deloitte, ICICI, and Accenture have already completed their placements, and the placement record this year will be just as good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities are good, but the campus is small compared to other colleges. Wi-Fi is accessible at smart points. The hostel has restricted timings, which are more strict for girls, as their hostel closes at 7:30-8:00 pm.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and well qualified, and the teaching quality is good. However, the university curriculum is outdated and does not provide students with the skills they need to work in industry.

Disappointed and dissatisfied with this college.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in the B.Com course was good, but the main problem of this college is that they don't provide any placement or internship program. The fees of the course are very high, which is not worth it at all. I would not recommend this college to anyone.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is not good at all; even the library they have is not good. There are many books to read or for studies. The same goes for the hostel of this college: the rooms of the hostel are not in good condition, and the canteen of this college does not have good food.
Faculty: This college does not provide proper education to students. The college teachers are sometimes not very helpful, and their teaching techniques are very bad. They don't have much knowledge; we students have to study ourselves only. I would not recommend this college to anyone.
Other: I had always been interested in commerce; that was the main reason I chose B.Com, but the worst decision was to choose this college.

Overall the college is good.
Placements: The placements are not given much by the college. The placement cell does manage to organize some meetings and seminars for students, but we cannot wholly depend on college placements for our future job scope. I haven't heard of any recruitment company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average as relatively to it being of a government institution. The classes do not have air conditioning. Also, the hostel infrastructure is not good as the rooms are very small, and the food of the mess of the hostel is average only.
Faculty: The faculty and the staff members of the college are reasonably qualified, and they are highly knowledgeable. The majority of the teaching pattern is good and organized. Also, regular assignments and presentations are assigned to students for their subjective improvement.
