Our college provides good infrastructure but placements are not good.
Placements: There are no placements in our course. Few streams provide campus placements. The training is always on-campus for biotechnology students.
Infrastructure: The food served in the hostel is good. Hostel rooms need renovation as there is various issue that needs to be tackled. Laboratory is well-furnished, and it has all the required equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members are cooperative and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is designed well, and the semester exams are not very easy, they to test the caliber of students. The pass percentage is 5-6 CGPA.
Other: The social network is vast in our college. We can come across various renowned personalities that can help us to excel better in future. Everyone is supportive, and our campus is well-designed. There are many extracurricular activities for students.

It is the best college for students who are willing to go abroad.
Placements: Based on B.Tech biotechnology, the jobs are very few. From a batch, only 1 or 2 students are selected. We get internships on our own. The training is provided on-campus, but the students are willing for going abroad because the recommendation of PAU is best in this field.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are the best rooms, and we have enough space. There is a proper area and every hostel has its own reading room, TV room, sports room, and mess. Every hostel has 8-9 Wi-Fi connections for any online study and the food quality in the mess is good. University has one hospital for medical facilities which is almost free for PAU students, and the doctors are MD gold medalists.
Faculty: Faculty members here are is best and co-operative. The teaching faculty is a minimum Ph.D. holder, and the teaching quality is best because of practical work. The course curriculum is good because in the first year they give us a basic course of all subjects and other things are for medical students. They give us maths basic course and similarly for nonmedical they give biology.

Our college provides good teaching but not jobs.
Placements: None of the companies comes to university to hire students from biotechnology. Most of them go for a masters or MBA. University has agricultural research, and it's the prime focus. Hence has good linkage to foreign universities, where most students end up. Biotechnology is a self-funded course, i.e., and you are charged more than other degrees like B.Sc, agriculture/horticulture, but not much advantage when it comes to getting placed.
Infrastructure: The university infrastructure is good, considering it is a government institution. It can't be compared with private colleges in its vicinity. Wi-Fi is available to every student, and classrooms are reminiscent of 80s era but have projectors installed. The library has a huge collection of books. Biotechnology labs are good, and many high stakes projects run parallelly. But don't hope good hands-on experience until the final year. Hostel infrastructure is not good, mess facilities are available in each, but standards can vary. Medical facilities are for everyone, and the sports infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Biotechnology teachers are awesome, and the best part of this course is their way of teaching. The curriculum is designed perfectly, and there is a balance of learning science maths and agriculture. All the teachers in this department are scientists, having 5 to 20 years of experience in their respective fields. But on the other hand, this experience doesn't make one industry-ready, and there are hardly any private players in agricultural research focusing on biotechnology. For jobs, one should consider pharmaceutical or medical biotechnology.
Other: The campus is huge, and the majority of which is under agricultural research. It is located in the heart of Ludhiana. Scholarships are available to students from a rural background and belonging to the reserved category.
