Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

REVIEW ABOUT MY UNIVERSITY - PMIST.
Placements: I wish to improve our college campus placement section. Last month, Zoho visited our institute and selected 16 members from my senior batch. They offered jobs with a salary of 3 LPA as training IT engineers. Our university offers internships in many places such as RETECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED in Chennai, ARMADA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION LIMITED in Thanjavur, and GR SOFTTECH in Trichy.
Infrastructure: Our institute offers Wi-Fi facilities and high-tech labs for students. The infrastructure in our university is also good and very eco-friendly. We have a hospital at the entrance of the university that works 24/7. The hostel is also well-maintained, and many students are staying there.
Faculty: There is no issue with teaching; the teachers are highly qualified. The faculty is very friendly with the students and encourages everyone to participate in extracurricular activities and work on projects. I wish to see some improvements in our course plan as we need to learn about current technologies. There is a 1.5-month gap between each examination in a semester. First, they conduct CIA 1; after the exam, they conduct CIA 2. After another 1.5 months, they conduct the semester examination. The marks from CIA 1 and CIA 2 are also considered for the semester result.
Other: I am an electronic and communication engineer, and I chose this course to do something better than others. I love studying this field, especially how it applies to real-life scenarios, such as using mobile phones, TVs, and electronic gadgets. They provide a scholarship of ₹20,000 under many categories, such as first graduate, single parent, sports quota, merit quota, and farmers. To qualify for this scholarship, students need to maintain 80% attendance and pass without any arrears.

Our college has a good environment to get a degree and learn many other things on your own.
Placements: Very few students got placed. Only a few companies visited the campus for placements. They hired very few students from the overall batch. There is a placement cell, and a student affairs section, everything. But placements were very low in number.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good, and it is now improved in a far better way. Facilities provided are enough, and they are having their electricity generators for the whole campus including campus using the biomass gasifier which was done by our college students and is in working condition.
Faculty: It is an excellent college in all ways, and the pass percentage was good in numbers. The course doesn't make students industry-ready, but you have to take responsibility from outside. The courses and the plans for the curriculum are up to the level of expectation.

I am satisfied with the course, faculty members and infrastructure of the college.
Placements: In our ECE batch, 100% of the students got placed through campus. The highest salary package offered was 4.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.8 LPA. Similarly, almost all students got internships in government and non-government sectors. We have our alumni in different fields like Bosh, ISRO, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are good and accessible throughout college timing. There is a separate department library for ECE. The hostel is very clean, and we have 24X7 accessibility for sports and games. Hostel food is good. The infrastructure of our college is very good, and it is a pollution-free campus.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are mostly Ph.D. holders, or some are pursuing their Ph.D. They have good knowledge of their fields. The curriculum is based on the industrial respective, and the basics of all topics related to the course are gained. We have lab in-charges available throughout college time.

Students can do their best with the help of our college.
Placements: We are in our 1st year yet and still have many options. Our HODs and class in-charges always help us with extra course things. We are asked to participate in internships in our 1st year itself. I can get a good job after the course.
Infrastructure: I am highly satisfied with the infrastructure of our college, and it is the best. Our campus always has a clean and perfect environment, and students would like it. I like the library most. It is peaceful, and I think others would also like it.
Faculty: Our teaching staff members are the best. You can ask doubts anywhere about anything regarding studies, and they always have the best solution. Even if you don't know the basics of the course, you don't need to hesitate to ask questions. They are the best. I like their teaching methods. Our staff members always make sure that students understood the concepts or not. We always ask to take quizzes and tests to prepare for our exams. Students submit 2 to 3 assignments regarding the lesson from their point of view, and we also have seminar classes which we like to do.
Other: Due to the current covid situation, we didn't attend any offline classes. However, we visited the college for a week for practicals, and we liked it. Our seniors are the best, and you can treat them as friends.

There is a good environment in my college.
Placements: They offer placement on BPO companies only. Salary also less below 10 k only. I attend placement but, not selected for second round due to lack of aptitude test. But, some other friends are placed for those companies due to low salary no one take that chance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good at my college, and the campus is eco-friendly. The lab facilities are good. The only canteen is very neat, but the food is not good. The atmosphere is good to study in out of class. The classrooms are big and good. Our library is big that I have ever seen in college. Sports are a few on the campus.
Faculty: A few staff members are good at teaching. The others are old students of my college as they just come to college and read the books nicely. The faculty facility is enough for the students. Some lecturers are not professional, and some lectures are good and good professional also.
Other: Only the events are good on the campus. College festival programs are good and useful for the students and surrounding people. Families are also allowed for the function to enjoy the function.
