Absolutely dissatisfied with the teachers and course curriculum. The sports facilities are good

Placements: Placements are good only for circuital branches. For non-circuital branches as compared to CSE and ECE and electrical, the companies that come are relatively less. The TPO is not very helpful to the non-circuital branches. They are only bringing coding companies. No other companies are brought by them.

PEC is a great college when it comes to crowd and placements, but it lacks proper infrastructure and the faculty is also not that good. As the cut-off goes high, so the crowd is quite intellectual and competitive. The labs are not properly equipped and have old equipment, classrooms becomes boiler rooms in summers and the campus market is not that good either. The best thing about PEC is their extracurricular activities, it has one of the best dramatics and debating team. You should really go fo...

It has been a great experience at Pec. The starting of college was not so fascinating and seemed like the place was not me. But with time you realize it is super fun. From the infrastructure, the ancient faculty, the cheap and eatable food, we get to learn about life. There are many active clubs and societies which show you the fun path away from the whole day studies. The events in the college, fests, roadshow, and star nights make you feel from which college you are lives much above your expec...

The curriculum of the college is on the level of IIT and teachers are great. The college level Fest of our college is the best part and many extracurricular activities are held time to time. Different clubs operate in college and engage students to hone their skills. Everything is fine. Just the infrastructure and supports need to be maintained and the research work should be emphasized.

i study at PEC university in civil dept. The classes held are very interactive with full facility of projectors and other equipment’s needed. Teachers are helpful and always ready to help students to guide them at every step. Tests are conducted sometimes surprise tests. Quiz competition are held for every subject.

The experience is good, like at PCE is OK. Placements are great. If you are looking for CSE or it go for it. I was expecting more than what I got. But not a conducive environment for higher education. Surely being in main city has its advantages. Level of most students is high leading to healthy competition. Exams conducted are very tough as compare any local college.

College is no doubt the best place to get a bachelor degree if you want to stay in Punjab or nearby during your 4 years of college. I have always been a fan of a review with simple pros and cons listed, so without wasting much of you time, I would also do the same. Relative Grading System is good. The seniors are very helpful and there is no ragging. Each student gets a single room in hostel which is quite good as per studies are concerned 4. Renowned institute - So good opportunities as far as...

One of the great place for studying engineering, big library and chances to interact with all department faculties in university. Teachers are very talented in university campus and they are ready to co-operate with students even if you are not from their department. If you have self-learning ability and want to research, it is the best place, as compare to other university departments engineering faculties are not experienced and not research oriented even you may get forward through help of ot...

I am satisfied with internships and placements, but not with every faculty.

Placements: I don't know much about placements yet. Only 13 students got selected for internships. I heard from the seniors that they are not even getting shortlisted for the internship interview. Some seniors said that internships are difficult to get in the reputed companies, but placements are easily accessible.

If you are from CSE branch of Punjab Engineering College, then you will get placed.

Placements: Except for CSE branch, the average salary package offered by core companies is 5 to 6 LPA. But for CSE, the lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. A lot of consultancy firms visit our campus for placements. Placements chances are pretty fare, but they are usually open to all branches, and the competition also increases.
