Our college has an amazing culture, top placements but average faculty members.

Placements: The placements in PEC are excellent and at par with any A-level college. A lot of amazing companies like Microsoft, Siemens and other leading industries visit PEC for placements. Quite a good number of students are offered PPO offers during their internships, while a few students opt for higher studies.

The college has awesome placements, lit crowd and decent infrastructure.

Placements: The reason I chose PEC over NIT Goa, Jalandhar, Hamirpur and Silchar, was placements. Around 86 to 87% of the students gets placed here. It has one of the oldest alumni networks (100 years old). Some of the students also get internships of around 1-1.5 Lacs. Most of the students get PPOs in the third year only. This year, the highest package offered was 46 LPA. In my branch (civil), the highest package offered was 18 LPA. The placement is the plus point of the college.

The highest salary package offered will be up to 40 LPA almost every year, and the average salary package offered is also in the range of 8 LPA-12 LPA. Intel, SanDisk, Cisco, etc., came to the campus. Many students got internships even in software giants like Microsoft etc. We can opt for the software field or hardware field. Electrical students are allowed to sit in almost every software and coding companies, and these companies are MNCs, so preparing for these would get you high package and a good job.
