Sathyabama is a big bag of opportunities and challenges.
Placements: According to the university website, the placement percentage for the 2023 batch was 92.57%. The highest package offered was 53 LPA, the lowest package was INR 2.5 LPA, and the average package was INR 5.40 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for Sathyabama include Amazon, Microsoft, Google, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: When it comes to the hostel, it is not that bad. In college, there are 3 blocks for boys - MGR, JPR, and Goal Krishnam Illam. They are not that good, and we have to adjust. The main problem in the hostel is water. They will allow us to fill it at certain times only.
Faculty: When it comes to faculty, it is good. The courses and curriculum are all well planned by the Dean. We have a lot of clubs in our college, in which students can participate in more events, so they can get more exposure. When it comes to exams, they won’t be that tough; you can complete them in one night’s sitting.

Overall, l would like to say everything is best.
Placements: Our college offers the best placements. 72% of students got the internship this year. The highest salary offered is 24 lacs, the lowest is 10.5 lacs, and the average salary is 16 lacs. Companies recruiting students include Virtusa, Genpact, AB InBev, Devrev, Baru, and Law. Companies recruiting students for software engineering, technical and non-technical, and law majors include Virtusa, AbinBev, Devrev, New, Genpact, and Law.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The rooms and restaurant are equipped with modern appliances and equipment. We have Wi-Fi on campus. The most remarkable thing about the college is the library, which is stocked with old and new books. All recreational facilities are available in the college. It has a special place for fitness and recreational activities such as yoga, meditation, and more. Medical and sports facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are good, friendly, and qualified. Most also actually attended court hearings. Letters have also been filed in various courts. That's why we have a very rich faculty here. The curriculum is designed to overlap with the criminal justice curriculum and is therefore flexible. Semester exams are very difficult. However, the passing rate is 87%.

Honest review on Sathyabama.
Placements: I took Computer Science and Engineering, so the first two years were online. The faculty doesn’t care about teaching the easiest methods and logic about coding. Regarding placements, everything seems made up. You will get a placement and offer letter, but you won’t receive a call from the company.
Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure, Sathyabama provides the best infrastructure in Chennai. Hostel food is excellent; Sathyabama offers the best food in Chennai. Hostel accommodation is also nice, with larger rooms and good food for hostelers. Everything is great for hostelers.
Faculty: Faculty is not very good, and the planning of the academic curriculum is also not up to the fee that we pay. The faculty doesn’t teach easy methods to learn coding. In placements, you aren’t allowed to attend another company drive once you get a company. You will be blocked in placement portals.
Other: Regarding connectivity, there is bus transport from the bus and railway station. Fests and cultural events happen twice a year. Scholarships and extracurricular activities like hackathons, startup innovation hubs, and everything else will be there.

Every average and below-average student will be the merit graduate.
Placements: 3182 placements have been completed and still leaping. The highest package was 50 Lacs per annum, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra, Zoho, and many more. Mostly, 60 percent got full-time job opportunities, and 30 percent were in internships from companies like Nokia and HCL.
Infrastructure: Our college is the best for everything, mainly for students' comfort and food. We get the best food, including veg and non-veg. The infrastructure of the classes is good, and every class has a projector, and the labs are the best. We have a big ground for sports and an indoor stadium too. We have an open canteen, and everything is available there, but you need to buy.
Faculty: Yes, every teacher has great knowledge in every subject related to their department. The teaching quality was good. The curriculum was planned very well for students. The examination is conducted strictly, and the pass percentage is 50 percent in the semesters and 50 percent in the minds.
Other: They provide scholarships for merit students, and a lot of events will be conducted regarding technology development, women welfare, and more. The main important thing was transportation.

Good Education for All.
Placements: I think in placements at our college, Sathyabama University, 60 to 70% of students were placed in my ECE course. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA offered in my course. The top recruiting companies for my course are HP, etc. 85% of students got internships from my course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my courses and department are some, like 6 to 7, only for my department. Wi-Fi was available all the time, but we don’t know the password for the Wi-Fi in our college. But sometimes they keep Wi-Fi blocked to not use it in some areas.
Faculty: All the teachers are helping us for better understanding of the subject and for a better future. They are so helpful and qualified for working in this field and also knowledgeable to teach our subject. The teaching quality, if I rate it, means 10 out of 10, but sometimes only 5 for some teachers.
Other: I chose this course based on my opinion because I think it was fun to learn about electrical and electronic engineering. The lab I used to do all the practical work because I love studying about that. The thing I wish would be better and improved about my course is the lab facility because when we go to the lab, the teachers are not friendly to us.

Do join this college for placement. I'm not sure, but the food is very nice.
Placements: No placement at college in the last two years. Companies coming are like call centers, and the highest package is 50 lakhs. Overall review of my college is 70% placement, but they will provide extra courses like AI and ML with a low package of 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very bad, and the food is very nice. The lab is also very nice. There are no sports games, and the canteen food is very nice, but there is a long line to stand in. In college, they give daily non-veg and veg food with nice food.
Faculty: Old curriculum and old syllabus. Old classrooms and no PowerPoint. Also, old staff teaching and does not provide much to describe my college. Think and join at my college and try it. It is very strict, aware shoes, and also separates boys and girls.
