Placements: There are good placements, especially for CSE branch. The average package is 6 LPA and the highest is 41 lakh per annum. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Amazon, TCS, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: In Sathyabama University, there are many courses. There are labs for each course. There is a central library present. Food is speechless, as it is too good. Sathyabama encourages games and sports.
Faculty: The professors at Sathyabama are well trained. They teach us very well. There is good staff in the labs. They are also well trained. Semester exams held are very strict. There is no malpractice. The college staff takes severe action towards cheaters.

Review of Sathyabama University.
Placements: Many companies visit here for placements, but core companies don't visit here. About 40% of enrolled students will get placed. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was about 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, TCS, Cognizant and Wipro. About 30% of the students who got placed got an internship offer. Top roles offered include software development engineer and IT analyst.
Infrastructure: Some classrooms are well-equipped for the future, but some of the classrooms still look older. The library has a great list of resources like books, journals and magazines. We do have Wi-Fi on demand. The laboratories have good equipment but lack lab assistants with sufficient knowledge. The food served is at par in the mess as well as the canteen. Medical facilities are available but cannot be easily availed. Sports and games enthusiasts can find a lot of facilities for sports and games here.
Faculty: The teachers here have great knowledge and have some industrial background in addition to the academic background as such it helps students be better prepared for the industrial sector. The course curriculum has recently been updated and allows a lot of flexibility in terms of the modules that students can choose and learn. Semester exams test the higher-level thinking skills and overall understanding of the concept. The pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: Two festivals are celebrated every year, and celebrities visit here for them. Events aren't conducted enthusiastically. Scholarships are given to academically top 3 rank holders and financially poor students.

Overview of Aeronautical Engineering in Sathyabama.
Placements: Mostly Software developer roles and business development roles during the early days. Around 70% of the students do get placed and the lowest package was 2.4 LPA and the highest offered was 5.5 LPA. However, the number of core companies coming in for placement is relatively low.
Infrastructure: The canteen could have been better. Hostels could be better maintained. Some departments have good staff and laboratory but some departments don't have working equipment. A better focus needs to be given to making the students industry-ready by arranging IV and Internships.
Faculty: IIT curriculum is followed and hence is the best you could ask for. In terms of teaching quality it varies from department to department. Semester exams strictly adhere to syllabus doesn't let the students go for out of box thinking. A few minor additions in curriculum is needed to make students industry ready.
Other: Aeronautical engineering has good scope abroad. A degree in aeronautical engineering is very valuable and has great scope in research. Scholarships are awarded every year to deserving students.

It is a better college with better faculty members, lab infrastructure and equipment.
Placements: I don't know surely what percentage of students get placed, but around 30%-50% of the students get placed. Top recruiting companies for our course are not core companies as they are just IT and software-based companies. We do internships on our own, and we have to search internships on our own and inform to the institute. However, sometimes, some government companies or organisations conduct internships inside our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good but not excellent. However, now, they are reconstructing and upgrading to smart classrooms, and the labs are very good. The library is also excellent. The quality of the food served is somewhat improved this year. There are separate canteens, but the food served in them is not pocket-friendly. Our campus has good medical facilities and also sports and games facilities.
Faculty: Staff members here are knowledgeable, and they can help you in many ways. Their teaching is good. I really don't know whether the students be industrial-ready. Our course is BE, so it doesn't provide any industrial study, and it always provides theoretical knowledge.
Other: I am interested in our course, so I have chosen it. Events like cultural activities, some Hackathons and fest are organised every year. The campus surroundings are somewhat good.

Review by aeronautical 2015 graduate student.
Placements: The placements on the campus are reasonable, but not good in the core stream which we are studying. In our batch, only 25 students out of 120 got placed on the campus placements. The core placements are very less on the campus. IT companies hire more students from various streams. People with good academic score can easily get placed in the campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is good compared to other colleges. The mess is compulsory, and the quality of the food in it is good. The college transport for day-scholars is compulsory, and the students who use their own transport are not allowed inside the campus without proper permission. Boys are not allowed to talk with girls on the premises even though it's their brother/sister.
Faculty: Academic wise, everything is good on the campus except for placements. The faculty members are strict. The labs of all the departments have a good environment. The college maintains good discipline among students. There is an anti-ragging cell to avoid junior students being ragged by senior students.
Other: The fee is a little higher compared to other colleges. They also have a quota for students to join from various backgrounds. The students with excellent academics are rewarded on the campus.
