Q:   Does SHUATS have good placements?

A:

SHUATS placements may vary depending on the specific programme you're considering for placements. Here's a breakdown:

SHUATS has a Directorate of Career Planning and Counseling (DCPC) that actively works with students on career development and placement opportunities. They organize workshops, mock interviews, and career counseling sessions to help students prepare for the job market.

Some sources report that around 75% of students get placed through on-campus placements. This can vary depending on the program, with some like Food Technology, Dairy Technology, and Agriculture having better placement rates than others.

Well-known companies like Nestle, ITC, and Parle Agro have been known to recruit from SHUATS.

For more information visit website shikhsha.com.

Q:   What is the average package offered at SHUATS?

A:

However, based on my research from multiple sources, the average package offered at SHUATS generally falls within the range of 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. This means that on average, SHUATS graduates can expect to receive an annual salary in this range upon placement.

Here are some specific examples of average package estimates I found:

  1. Shiksha: They report an average package of 3.5 LPA for B.Tech graduates at SHUATS.
  2. Their estimate for the average package is also around 3.5 LPA.
  3. Student reviews: While student reviews offer anecdotal evidence, some mention achieving packages as high as 6 LPA, while others report receiving average offers of around 3 LPA.

Remember, these are just averages, and individual experiences may vary depending on the factors mentioned earlier. It's important to research the specific programme you're interested in and consider other factors like internships and skill development to get a more complete picture of your potential career trajectory after graduating from SHUATS.

Really good infrastructure and facilities provided by college.
Placements: There are 50 students enrolled in our first semester. The top roles are like forensic officer, lab assistant, and lab head in a forensic science laboratory. The placements are vast, like Delhi, Bangalore, etc. Also, you can get a job in the college after completing your Masters.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are so good. The classrooms are clean, and the subjects taught by the professors are easy to understand due to their specific teaching methods. The hostel is good; there are three messes, and all mess food quality is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They teach so nicely that they make difficult topics easy to understand. The semester exams are quite hard, but if you focused in class when the professor is teaching, then you can clear the exam without any problem.
Other: The reason I have chosen this course is that it has a very good scope, and it is usually not well-known. There are many things which the college can improve and make better about our course, like the practicals and the laboratory. They need to be more specified. The events are just fabulous. The activities, scholarships, campus crowd, and campus surroundings are so good.

Everything is good, and you could think about joining here.
Placements: There were a total of 40 students in my class. Since it was a Bachelor's course, there were no placements after M.Sc. You will get placed after MBA or engineering. There are many courses like food technology, dairy technology, and agriculture, in which the placements are available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are excellent. Teachers are supportive. It is a good place to enjoy college life to the fullest. Mess food is good, and the hostel is clean. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. AC and non-AC rooms are available. There are various PGs available outside the university.
Faculty: The teachers are highly educated and helpful. The grading system is excellent here. The highest mark is always 8.0 pointers. Semester exams are excellent and moderate. You will gain good knowledge here and will gain a lot of experience in studies as well as for personality development.
Other: My course was B.Sc. life science, forensic science and chemistry.

India's most popular agriculture college.
Placements: In Forensic Science there are no placements for undergraduate students. There are placements available for postgraduate students because the requirements are for master's students. Forensic Science students get jobs in the forensic Science laboratory, which comes under the state government.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available in the campus area, but the connection is not stable. There are four hostels for men and six hostels for women, there is an international hotel, an old hostel, a new hostel and a PG hostel for PG students. The mess is divided into three regions a North Indian mess, a South Indian mess and an international mess.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They help us understand anything or any topic. There is a separate library for all the departments in the college and also a central library available for the students. In Forensic Science the department organizes the forensic opedia every year in which the organizing committee makes an artificial crime scene, and the participants have to find and solve the crime scene.
Other: Forensic Science offers a wide range of scope especially when they are attached to life Science and Chemistry and in shuats. They have a good experience of teaching. There was no fest in the college but every department and faculty organised their own freshers and farewells.

The college is fine with good people.
Placements: There are no campus placement drives for B.Sc. Forensic. The college does not provide placements on campus, but studies here are quite good. Students learn a lot. Students can apply for government jobs and can also go for JRF or NET.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for the course/department of B.Sc forensic science are chemistry and biology labs, forensic labs, and central and departmental libraries. It has quite big classrooms with comfortable chairs and tables.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is quite good. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is above 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in forensic science. The best thing is that the faculty are very cooperative and friendly. The infrastructure could be one of the things which could be better/improved. There are different events and fests.

Satisfied. No placement. Would surely recommend shuats for good education.
Placements: Nothing offered but who ever students got job has got on their on skills and achievements. No contribution from the college. A normal graduation degree is awarded to students in lscfs which they can take forward in higher education or go for government jobs by giving out competitive exams and most student does that. Vacation training facilities are provided but on terms basis no such Internship. If got a job via campus employment wing it's upto 12000 pm.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure was average cleanliness is at par. Drinking water facilities are good. Mess food quality is very poor. Only veg food offered in girls hostel that to low grade. Campus official canteen is just so good for only tea. A cafes are set within campus which is somewhat relief. Sports and games faculty are good. Medical facilities are also good for Hayes memorial hospital for basic treatment which gives 24 hr service. Atm and bank is there but services are poor. It does have a post office in the campus.
Faculty: The faculty teachers are quite supportive and give their best to guide and help students. Courses are something more than just being hectic each semester has 10 papers with quite regular class. Which becomes too hectic for students. But at the end if asked for knowledge gain will it will be a big thumbs up.
Other: Wanted to study further in forensic science and opted this college. Quite a good choice I would say in reference to studies. But I wish the infrastructure improves a bit with more laboratory equipment facility. No fest or events except for freshers and farewell party. Christmas parties are there but not at all good for non christian students.
