- Entrance TestEligible candidates need to appear for SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the SRM University. Candidates with valid score in GATE/TANCET need not to appear for SRMJEEE (PG). International applicants are exempted from taking the All India Entrance Examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
- CounsellingAdmission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in SRMJEEE. Vacant seats will be filled directly by the institute on the basis of valid score in GATE/ TANCET. International students will get direct admission based on the marks obtained in graduation.

Other: There are no proper lab facilities and to do your project in these labs is a big hassle.
The teaching is just average and there are no placements also.
The campus is good. There are nice campus facilities and infrastructure. Hostel facilities are good.
MBA and IT courses have 100% placements.
