A glimpse of M.Tech Water Resources Engineering & Management course at TSAS.
Placements: More than 75% of students get placed. Package offered depends on the skills of the student. It may range from 4 to 7 lacs per annum. Many organizations- MNCs, NGOs, startups, are available to apply. One also needs to build contacts through the conferences they'll attend during 2 years. Name of the companies are available on the college website. Everyone get an internship opportunity. Entire 4th semester is dedicated for internship.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and facilities are available for all the students. Library, Labs, classrooms & IT infrastructure is great. I would say that the Canteen is average. Breakfast, lunch & evening snacks are available. Hostel is only for females & has a total capacity of around 50.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well qualified in their fields. The teaching is good & faculty members are supportive. The course is interdisciplinary & covers non-technical sides of water management too. The teaching is based on case studies & current issue which helps the students to be ready.
Other: I'm from 2019-2021 batch. I choose this course as water is a pressing issue. One of the best things about this course is that an entire semester is dedicated to internship. College organizes lot of conferences, cultural events during the semester. All the students are welcome to participate & interact with the invited guests. The college also supports the students by allowing them to run the Eco Club, Sports club & SDSN Youth club.

The college does not specify the scholarship criteria for the courses. It might be the score in the entrance or your performance in the interview or a slew of other signaling things in your CV. It would be prudent to check it with the college once. You can get the number for the TERI SAS website.
