Review of Thapar University.

Placements: The overall placement is excellent for our current senior batch. Many have been placed at various companies like Optum, FirstCry, etc. Also many if then git interned at Black Rock, Xpedia and many more. The college is also working very hard to call more companies so that all students get placed at a good package.

Satisfied with Thapar College, as it is worth it.

Placements: The eligibility criteria are different, offered by different companies, and companies like Google, Amazon, and Infosys, along with many more MNCs, visit for on-campus placement. The highest package last year was around 55 Lacs, and it is increasing every year, while the average package is around 15 Lacs. Around 70 percent of students get placed. My plan after getting a degree is to find a good placement in any MNC company related to information technology in a foreign country and to pursue my Ma...

Thapar- the private institute .

Placements: Almost 90-95% students with 7 CGPA are placed with an average package of around 12.1 LPA and the highest being 55 LPA INR. Internships after 2nd and 3rd year are a bit hard to crack but the number is quite good as compared to other colleges. Top recruiters are Google, Apple, Samsung, BlackRock etc.

Review of Thapar University.

Placements: A lot of companies like Amazon, JP Morgan, HCL, Adobe, Airbnb, Cisco, Celebel, Barclays, Tech Mahindra and many more are hiring partners. The average package is around 5.2 LPA and the highest package is 12.3 LPA. The whole placement scenario for MCA department revolves around factor of computation with BE students and skill set. Around 60–70% of students placed on campus and remaining either go off campus or pursue higher studies. The college gives students the freedom to do internships. I did a...

Average academic experience at TIET, but passed out with memories and moments.

Placements: 70% of students placed the highest package offered on campus at around 52 LPA. Various internship offers were revoked due to a bad outlook in the industry. The roles offered were mostly SDE, ML/AI, business analyst, etc. Blackrock, JP Morgan, and Accenture were the companies that hired the students. Accenture did a great job hiring the batch of 2024.

Thapar Institute has top-notch infrastructure with great facilities.

Placements: I'm a second-year student of TIET pursuing my B.Tech in computer engineering. Placement for computer branches is decent; some companies offer good placements, but due to the large number of students in this branch, the CGPA cutoff is very high. Companies like JP Morgan are among the top recruiters. The average package is around 10 lakhs for this course; the highest can vary year upon year. The lowest package is 3-4 lakhs.

Should you join Thapar University or not? - A detailed review.

Placements: The placements are really average in the University. My batch is 2025 ECE and for internship itself (2 months) that occurs in the summer after 3rd year, there were only 2-3 companies that targeted electronics domain. There were a total of 10 companies in which students could sit for the summer intern. Considering the placements of the previous batch, the average placement can be nearly 10 Lacs per annum but still 30% batch of 2024 is unplaced and they will be sitting with the batch of 2025 in pl...
