Q:   How to apply for admission in University of Jammu?

A:

Admission to all the offered courses is through the Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) except for MBA. Interested candidates must appear for the entrance exam and the selection is then done based on JUET score. However, for courses such as Btech, MSc, B.Ed, MA, etc, CUET is required. However, candidates can follow the admission procedure of the University of Jammu for admission:

Q:   How much percentile is a good score in CAT exam?

A:

A good CAT score depends on the colleges you are targeting. For admission to top IIMs, a CAT score of 97-98 percentile is typically considered good, while for other top MBA colleges, a score of 90-95 percentile is considered good. A majority of CAT test takers fall in the category of 80-90 percentile, and many B-schools accept candidates with CAT scores in this range. To achieve a 99 percentile in CAT, candidates should attempt at least 75% of the questions with a good accuracy rate. The CAT percentile is an indicator of your rank among all test takers, and it does not directly measure your actual performance in the exam. For example, if you score 99 percentile, it means that you are among the top 1% of students that year, as 999 out of 1000 candidates scored below you. To score a high percentile in CAT, it is essential to practice consistently, focus on all sections of the exam, and maintain a good accuracy rate. With proper planning and dedication, you can achieve a high percentile in the CAT exam.

Q:   Why BTech is the popular programme at Jammu University?

A:

BTech is the popular programme at Jammu University as the university aims at the holistic development of students so that they can face the challenges of the globalised world. The University of Jammu MBA students can become Managers, Financial Analysts, Treasurer, Finance Manager, and others. BTech students are placed in top companies such as Accenture, IDFC Bank,  and others.
