Why should you choose UPES?

Placements: Good placement. But that depends on your Academics too, College provides ample amount of opportunity for placement. The Placement cell is active throughout the year and arranges activities like mock placements to help students. College has collaboration with esteemed organisation like IBM, XEBIA, PCBL etc.

Take this cllge for your second option.

Placements: AVG package of all the CSE branch is 4.5 Lacs. Last year 2 students got 15 Lacs package from my branch. Many product based companies come here and hire around 4-5 students/ company. Last time Microsoft hired 4 students and offered them 8 Lacs package, Combolt hired 3 students and offered 15 Lacs, Xebia hired 5 students and gave them around 9 LPA. And L &T Came as mass recruiter and hired around 220 students. Every year around 85% students get placed.

UPES is a better choice for the students with an ambition.

Placements: Comparing to many of the other colleges with similar courses, UPES provides much better placements in the corporate sectors. This year, our college achieved 89% placements. UPES has a special department called career services which focuses on the placements and internships of the students.

The only thing which can let the college down is the costly fee structure.

Placements: Our college provides placement for almost each student, but it always depends on the capabilities and communication skills of student and his/her pointer in exams. If you want a job through campus selection work hard and earn a pointer more than 8, nobody can stop you from getting job from campus placement.

One of the best colleges of Dehradun.

Placements: The placements are quite well in this university. There are many opportunities for CSE. From senior student, I came to know that only 70-80 percent students get placed. The average package is 4.5 to 5 LPA. There are some summer internships in the university too.

The infrastructure and placements are good. The faculty are friendly providing good guidelines.

Placements: The placements are good on the campus. Almost 88% of the students got placed on the campus. The average salary package was around 4.5 LPA. Around 2-3 students get paid internship, and the rest of them have to manage their own. The college sends your name for an internship for two months, but it is not paid internship as you just get training in the different sectors but a few of them get paid. Overall, the internship placing is 100%.

UPES is expensive but good if compared with other private engineering colleges.

Placements: Placement are good quantity wise, as in most of the students are placed with average package of 3.5-4.5 Lacs per annum (varying yearly). As per the quality is concerned, the highest package in CSE with specialisation in Mainframe Technology goes till 12-14 Lacs per annum.

Placements depends on number of quality students versus companies visiting campus.

Placements: The placement depends upon individual students. Good companies like VMware, Microsoft, Commvault, CA Technologies and many more come to the college for the placements with packages above 10 LPA. If a student is a smart worker and knows the depth of his subject, then taking placement from this college is, taking a piece of cake. Instead, if the student did not achieve any excellence in any area of his life, then placement for him becomes a hurdle.

The University with golden heart.

Placements: Actually, I don't want to be placed, and my aim is to do Masters. After the completion of my B.Tech degree, I wanted to be an I. E. S. officer, so this is the reason why I do not want to be placed. If I do masters from IITs or the other best colleges, then I have sufficient time to prepare for the I.E.S examination. It's very difficult for me to prepare for the examination while doing the job.
