Placements: The placements for 2014-2018, were around 60% which is not satisfactory for expensive college like UPES. The average salary for ASE engineers is around Rs.25000 per month. Mahindra Aerospace is the main company to visit UPES. Every student gets the opportunity to get an internship from the college itself. These are no paid internships.
Placements: Placements are limited. The deserved ones bag good placements at some of the best companies. The average package offered was around 4.5 LPA. Companies like Rolls Royce, Tata, Mahindra etc. industrial giants visit the campus. The highest placement package was 37 LPA. Almost all students got the internship and were helped during placements.
Placements: I heard that one student got a placement of 22 LPA. The regular placements are 4 to 6 LPA. Here, many companies came and took many students. The good thing here is that IBM hires many students. Many companies come here, and one time, Microsoft also came here.
Placements: The placements are appreciable at UPES. Highlight courses such as APE, chemical and CS engineering have recorded the best placements records, lifting the aggregate of the college. There's a placement cell with SPRs (student placement representative) allotted for keeping the students informed about all that's happening. Last year, the placements were around 93%, out of which 70% were placed in the core. Internships will be provided to all students from the college unless you decide to search on y...
Placements: Most of the students got placed on the campus. Few students who didn't submit their resumes not got selected like me due to a medical situation, and who didn't participate in the placement process. The companies visited the campus every day so that I couldn't remember all the names. TATA, Denso, etc., are the companies who visited the campus.
Placements: The placement of my college was decent with the average package of around 3.5 LPA for the computer science batch. The major recruiter was IBM, Interra IT, L&T Infotech, Dell, Microsoft, Commvault and many more. The highest package for CSE was around 15 LPA offered by Commvault. The roles ranged from associate engineers, associates consultants and software developers. Almost 90% of the batch was placed, and most of the student got a remote internship from college in IBM and EMC2.
Placements: Placement of this university is really good, apart from non-IT branches. IT branches are really good, and nearly everyone gets placed at the end. Very few are there who go for GATE or higher studies. Many IT companies recruit the students. I am looking forward to get placed in a good company.
Placements: The placements were good for our seniors around 95% of the batch was placed, and from our batch, 90% of the batch was placed. The average package was around 4 lakhs per annum. The companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Commvault offered packages above 10 LPA and above. Most companies were mass recruiters where IBM took more than 150 students.
Placements: The placements for computer science department is excellent for our batch and also for our senior batch. Over 90% of the students are placed, and a similar trend was with our seniors. The companies like Commvault, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, TATA, Dell, etc., had visited the campus. The highest package offered was 15 LPA with average package between 3.5 LPA-4 LPA also the minimum package was 3 LPA. The companies offered roles like Software developer, tester, consultant, analyst, etc. The internships...
Placements: The placements for out batch are better than our senior batch, as many good companies visited our campus this year. Around, 85% of the students got placed. The average package offered was 4 LPA, and Amazon India offered the highest as 28 LPA CTC, and the minimum salary offered was 2.5 LPA. Many good companies visited this year like Microsoft India, Commvault, Amazon India, Dell India, IBM, L&T, Tata Tech. Ltd. etc. The roles offered were a software developer, Q&A, consulting, analytics, etc. The...
Placements: The placements are good. More than 90% of the eligible students get the placements. Majority of the recruitment is from IT companies, and mass recruiters are IBM, NIIT technologies, Infosys, L&T, Interra IT, etc., providing the package between 3 LPA to 4.5 LPA. The companies like Microsoft, Dell, Commvault, Weatherford also visit the campus with the placement offer up to 15 lacs per annum. Overall, the placement in IT sector is much better than others.
Placements: I am still studying in the first year, so I know only about the passed out batch. They had the highest package of 31 LPA, and the lowest was the usual 3.5 LPA. Average is around 6 LPA to 7 LPA. This is due to the low market situation these years. Around 95% students were placed last year from our branch. Companies like Weatherford, Halliburton, Essar oil, L&T, Reliance, Exxon Mobil, Shell, Cairn etc. visit the campus. Every student gets an internship in the third year by the college. The placeme...
Placements: This college has fine placements, and the highest package is 8 LPA from our branch. Vedanta, Balaji constructions, SGX minerals, everyone got the internship, and it is not a paid internship. There is a placement cell, its actually good career service providers, and there is no senior batch as we are the first batch.
Placements: The placements were really good. 91% of the students got placed in IT companies with an average package 4 LPA, and the highest was 7 LPA. The placement cell of our college is really good and has very helpful staff. Everyone got good internship options. IBM, Dell, Infosys, KPIT Boeing, and few other companies visited our campus.
Placements: The placement process was a bit slow, but many giants visited the campus for the placements. Targets were set for the placements and were met as well. The students were very much happy with the kind of profile they were offered and the package they got. Different fields call for the different type of companies for which the college is definitely providing.
Placements: The average package offered was 6 LPA, and approximately 80-85% placement for my batch. The companies like ONGC, HPCL, etc., visited the campus this year. Total strength of my branch is 85 in which 45 got placed right now, and I think the other branches are better than oil and gas due to recession in crude and dominance of renewable impacted oil and gas industry enormously.
Placements: I am yet to complete my course, but with the first-hand feedback that I have got from my seniors, I can assure that placements at UPES are more than satisfactory. An average student can practically aim for a package of 3.6 LPA at least. UPES also has the amazing E-Cell which is dedicated in building entrepreneurs.
Placements: There is a placement cell in UPES. Our seniors were about 69, and they were all placed (except one or two) with an average package of 3.5 Lacs. The highest package was 8.5 Lacs, offered to one of our seniors. Same goes for our current batch, we are 67, and only 3-4 students are unplaced. The average package is 3.5 Lacs, and the highest package for CS is 14.5 Lacs offered to 3 students by Commvault. Major recruiters are IBM, LTI, Microsoft, Dell, VMware, Infosys, CGI, Shell, Esri India, Persisten...
Placements: The placement is quite good for computer science students. There are many good companies like Microsoft, IBM, L&T that come to our college this year. About 95% of computer science students got placed this year. On the other hand, for non-CIT branches, the placement is not so healthy.
Placements: The placements are not very decent as the package is not according to the current sustainable market price. The average that a law student is getting is about 3 LPA only and job location in metro cities which makes it difficult for the survival. The internship from college is also not very great, and not all can get an internship from the college, so mostly one is on its own.
