I would recommend this college to low rank students with high budgets.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our course. However, the salary packages were low. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Reliance Petroleum and ONGC. The maximum salary package offered was 52 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 7.5 LPA.

Disappointed in the number of assignments they give in one semester.

Placements: Around 25% of placements. The highest package is 15LPA, the lowest package is 4LPA, and the average package is 7LPA. Around 30% of the students got an internship in various companies. According to their profile they wanted to work on animation artist, VFX artist, and sound designer, video and production work, all we get trained for industry ready work.

I had a good experience at UPES, and my friends made it great.

Placements: Almost half of the students from the batch got placed with roles like graduate engineering trainee, technical sales executive, safety trainee, etc. Top recruiting companies for our course were Phillips Carbon Black Limited, Reliance Industries Limited and Jubilant Life Sciences.

Review of School of Engineering, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: Placements are good here or great, so you can have high hopes for placements in this college. Students of APE (applied petroleum engineering) gas and upstream get placed in reputable core companies like Schlumberger, Halliburton, Shell and Exxon Mobil. This is the scenario when UPES boasts APE gas and upstream as its flagship programme.

Our college is with full of opportunities for those who can grab.

Placements: Top roles are recruitments in law firms. I'm still in the first year, so don't have a practical idea about this field. But the college provided some of the best recruitments indeed. A lot of big firms hire students, but the average is less.

Not completely dissatisfied as college puts a lot of efforts for students' bright future.

Placements: The course which I have opted was started in the same year in which I joined UPES. This course has a really bright future as it deals with AI ML, robotics and a lot more. The subjects are fine. Despite what is taught in the class, you should try to learn things yourself too through YouTube videos etc.

The faculty in the college are very good.

Placements: The highest package offered was 17 LPA. The placements in the college are average. The college influences students at the time of orientation session that the college would provide placements, but the initial placements are low, and the college does not provide placements to every student. The placement rate of the college is very low. No big companies come for placements, but still, the faculty in our college are good.

Placements: Our college has more than 25 branches. In mechanical engineering, the course was started in 2013 at UPES, and I got admission here in 2016, so 2017 was the first batch to pass out, and ours will be the 4th batch. Placements: My batch and my senior batch placement are average. An average number of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA and average salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Companies like 360 degrees, ITC visited the campus. Approximately 60% of student got placement, but most of the students choose off-campus placement. The internship is average in this college. We have a placement cell, but it is not good.

Our college is not worth the money, and you will be much stressed here.

Placements: The number of placements provided here is quite average, but the companies visit here are good like Honeywell, Reliance, PCBL, etc. From our senior batch, maybe 35 students got placed out of 55 students. From our batch, about 20 students have been placed out of 100 students until now. The average salary package of 4 LPA and the highest salary package of 7 LPA are offered until now by Honeywell. Almost 90% of the students got internships, but only 20% of them got in good companies.

Placements: Placements are average not good but college tries hard to get placed each and every student from the batch. As college focuses on PPO offers more and not on the in-campus placements. Also average placements is 2 Lacs which is way more lesser than other colleges.

Placements: Placements depends on the faculty and student. Companies will come but for few openings competition is tough. You have to study on your own to get placed. Faculty members are care free. You will face difficulties due to quota. But If you have the flame within you no one can stop you to achieve anything you want.

Placements: As per the placements it is not good rather average in compare to the hefty fees they charged from us. A law student gets only average package of Rs. 4-5 lakh which is not worth today. Though the placements depends upon us but college shows record of 98 percentage of placements which is not true. Even students in nlu does not get 98 perecentage of placements how upes showing I there brochure of 98 placements.
