No. There is no lateral entry admission offered for B.Tech and UG Programmes. Diploma holders (10+3) are eligible for B.Sc.

Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP) does not consider JEE scores for admission to its BTech program. Admission to VIT-AP is based on the candidate's performance in the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE), which is a university-level entrance exam conducted by VIT University.

The VITEEE is a computer-based test and consists of multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2023 was released for admission to BTech courses at VIT-AP. The VIT-AP Cutoff ranks were  released for different categories under the AI and HS Quota.
