Q: What are the passing criteria for students at VMOU semester exams?
Students in the VMOU semester exams need to secure at 36 per cent. This is exempted for BCP/BAP/BSCP courses. VMOU Kota admission takes place in two sessions-January and July. Students studying in VMOU have to take two semester exams. VMOU Term End Examination (TEE) is conducted in June and December. For admission to UG programmes candidates must pass Class 12 from a recognised board of education. For admission to PG programmes, candidates must complete graduation from a recognised university. Admission to B Ed, MPhil, PhD, MBA, and MCA programmes are done on the basis of entrance test.

Students who fail in the exam or score less marks can opt for revaluation of the answer book. They can select a maximum of two answer books for revaluation. This is done only for the theory paper. Students cannot opt for revaluation for practical papers, internal assignments, project reports, dissertations, viva-voce, due papers, boycotted papers, special examinations, and improvement papers, etc. For re-evaluation, candidates need to apply within 15 days after the declaration of the result.
