VMOU 2024 Exam: Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) released VMOU TEE June admit card 2024 on July 9, 2024. VMOU TEE time table 2024 for June session was released earlier. The exam was conducted from July 15, 2024 to August 21, 2024. The exam was conducted in two shifts-Morning Shift (9 AM - 12 PM) and Evening Shift ( 2 PM - 5 PM). What is VMOU Exam?
Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, established on July 23, 1987, offers UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate programmes in various disciplines at its designated study centres. The open university also provides lateral entry admission. VMOU Kota admission takes place in two sessions-January and July. Students studying in VMOU have to take two semester exams. VMOU Term End Examination (TEE) is conducted in June and December.
For admission to UG programmes candidates must pass Class 12 from a recognised board of education. For admission to PG programmes, candidates must complete graduation from a recognised university. Admission to B Ed, MPhil, PhD, MBA, and MCA programmes are done on the basis of entrance test.

VMOU Courses
UG courses: BA (preparatory program and pass course), BCom. (preparatory program and pass course), BSc (preparatory program and pass course), Bachelor of Journalism (regular and lateral), BLibISc, BBA, BCA, BSW, B Ed. The duration for the regular UG courses is three yars whereas the duration of Bachelor of Journalism, BLibISc and various other preparatory programme is one year. The duration for Bachelor of Journalism (Lateral Entry) course is 6 months.
PG Courses: VMOU offers various courses such as MA, MSc, MCom, MJ, MLilSc, MCA, MSW and PG Diploma at the postgraduate level. The duration for Masters in Journalism, Master in Library & Information Science and the PG Diploma courses is one year. All the other PG level courses are offered for a duration of two years. MA course is offered in 14 different specialisations. MSc course is offered under three subjects and PG Diploma is offered in nine specialisations.
VMOU Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission to the various courses in VMOU is given below:
- Admission to all the UG programmes in VMOU except B Ed is done on the basis of the merit of the candidates in their qualifying examination
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in any discipline from any recognised board
- For Bachelor of Library and Information Science and B Ed, candidates must have passed graduation with 50 per cent marks
- Admission to all PG courses except MBA is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying entrance exam
- No entrance test is conducted for admission to the PG courses
- Candidates must have passed graduation from a recognised university
VMOU Exam Process

Filling VMOU exam form
Candidates need to fill VMOU exam form separately for papers/courses of various examinations. The exam form fees are INR 200 per course/paper for BAP/BCP/BScP/Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor Degree. The late fees for these courses are INR 200 per course/paper. The exam fees for PG Diploma, Master Degree are INR 300 per course/paper. The late fees for these courses are INR 300 per course/paper.
VMOU Admit Card
VMOU releases admit card for term end examination in the form of permission letter. The admit card is released one week before the commencement of exam. Candidates appearing for term end examination can check and download their VMOU admit cards from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter their name and challan number.

VMOU conducts term end examination in June and December for various courses. Candidates need to clear the exam to go to the next stage of their course.
