Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test also known as CSEET is conducted for registrations to CS Executive Programme. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducts CSEET for entry to CS course- CS Executive, Professional programmes. Any candidate who has passed 10 2 education will be eligible to appear for the CSEET exam

Q:   What is the new exam pattern for CSEET?

A:

The CSEET New Syllabus Under 2022 shall comprise of an Online Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test CSEET consisting of Four parts The nomenclature of CSEET is as under: Part 1- Business Communication- 50 marks Part 2- Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning- 50 marks Part 3- Economic and Business Environment- 50 marks Part 4- Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude 50 marks. The question paper of CSEET will consist of Multiple Choice Questions. Candidates will have to attempt all the questions within two hours. The total marks of the CSEET exam will be 200 marks.

Q:   Is there any negative marking in the CSEET exam?

A:
No, there will be no negative marking in CSEET exam. Candidates will not be marked negatively for any incorrect answer or not attempted question. As per the marking scheme of CSEET for every correct answer candidates will be rewarded between one or two marks for each question. Q:   Is there any sectional time limit for CSEET exam?

A:

According to the CSEET exam pattern, the question paper will be divided across four sections. The question paper will consist of total 140 questions. The total duration of the CSEET exam to attempt 140 questions is two hours. Candidates can attempt any section as per their preference, however, candidates must ensure to divide their time for each section wisely to complete all the section. There will be no sectional time limit to attempt the CSEET sections. However, candidates must note that timer and chalk the strategy to attempt the questions accordingly. Candidates will noit be given extra time to attempt the CSEET exam. The exam will close automatically when the duration ends.

  • CSEET is a mandatory qualifying test for all categories for registration to the Executive Programme except a few exempted categories. 
  • Age must not be less than 17 years on the date of application.
  • Candidates must have completed Class 12 
  • Foundation passed of ICSI/Final passed of ICAI/Final passed of ICMAI/ Graduates having minimum 50% marks/ Post Graduates will be exempted from taking CSEET and will be eligible for direct registrations to CS Executive programme.

CSEET Registrations

CSEET registration form are released in online mode. Candidates can fill the online application form at icsi.edu. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The registration window is open throughout the year for CSEET.

Prerequisites for CSEET Registration

Candidates must keep the following documents/information ready before filling the CSEET application form:

  • Scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph
  • Scanned signature
  • Date of birth certificate (10th pass certificate)
  • Hall ticket/admit card of class 12th(if appearing)
  • 10 2 passing certificate/marksheet

Q:   Can I get into ICSI Delhi with 70%?

A:

The Institute­ of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in De­lhi has specific eligibility criteria for applicants. Prospe­ctive students must be at le­ast 17 years old and pass the CSEET (Company Secre­tary Executive Entrance Te­st). This test is conducted four times a ye­ar in January, May, July, and November. After succe­ssfully completing the CSEET, candidates are­ required to registe­r for the CS Executive Programme­ within six months.
It's worth noting that the pe­rcentage obtained in 10+2 doe­s not solely determine­ admission. As long as the exam is passed in any stre­am, one still has a chance. Howeve­r, performing well in the CSEET could gre­atly enhance one's chance­s of securing a seat at ICSI Delhi. Admission he­re depends on me­rit and seat availability.

Q:   Can I join ICSI Delhi without ICSI Exam?

A:
Yes, you can join the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) without taking the ICSI CS exam. To join the ICSI, you must: 
 
  • Pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
  • Be at least 17 years old at the time of application
  • Complete Class 12
You can apply for Associate membership of the ICSI if you: 
 
  • Pass the Intermediate Examination/ Executive Programme examination and Final Examination / Professional Programme examination of the Institute
  • Undergo prescribed training or are exempted therefrom on the basis of experience
Students in Grades 10+2 are eligible for the ICSI CS Foundation programme, but they must provide proof of enrollment, such as their exam roll number

What is CSEET Passing Criteria?

A candidate is declared as ‘pass’ if she/he obtains minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together provided that the candidate is not absent in any of the paper.

No you can't apply CSEET, if not passed 12th. The eligibility criteria of CSEET-2024 is given below.

Education qualification: Should have passed or appearing in 12th.
