In 2020, the NIT Agartala cutoffs were released for various BTech and BTech Integrated courses. The cutoffs were published for the opening and closing rounds. Under the authority of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority, the admissions were conducted in 2020. According to the cutoff results, CSE was the most competitive specialisation. During the NIT Agartala CSE Cutoff 2020, the closing ranks for Round 1 and the Last Round were 13933 and 18351, respectively.

NIT Agaratala CSE cutoff is based on JEE Main ranks followed by the JoSAA and the CSAB Counselling. As per the JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment results, the closing ranks ranged between 18050 and 50575 wherein CSE was the most competitive specialsiation.
