NIT Mizoram Cutoff 2019: Check Category-Wise JEE Main Cutoff Ranks

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) issued the National Institute of Technology Mizoram cutoff 2019. The cutoffs for All India, All India Female, Home State, and Home State Female were made public for the Round 1 and Final Rounds. Students with valid JEE Main scores were asked to register for the JoSAA counselling round for various BTech and BTech Integrated course options. Students with scores between the opening and closing cutoffs were invited to participate in the counselling rounds. NIT Mizoram Cutoff 2019 for General All India Category

During the NIT Mizoram cutoff 2019, the General AII India category students' Last Round closing ranks varied from 26401 to 42534. Based on the data below, BTech CSE was the most competitive specialisation, with a closing rank of 19494 in Round 1 and 26401 in Round 2. Considering the Last Round, the most competitive course during the NIT Mizoram BTech cutoff 2019 was the BTech in CSE. Furthermore, CSE had a closing rank of 34184. The NIT Mizoram branch-specific cutoffs are as follows:

Q:   What is the latest cutoff information for B.Tech at NIT Mizoram?

According to Shiksha.com, the JEE Main Round 6 opening and closing rank for Civil Engineering at NIT Mizoram was 58000 and 59000, respectively. The JEE Main cutoff for Computer Science Engineering in 2023 was 4524 for SC and 1507 for ST category. The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Mizoram has been decreasing in recent years. The cutoffs for admission to NIT Mizoram are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Main, and the last cutoffs also change depending on All India quota or Home State.

Q:   What is the BTech cutoff for SC and ST categories at NIT Mizoram?

NIT Mizoram BTech cutoff 2023 for Computer Science Engineering was 4524 for SC and 1507 for ST category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Main, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Mizoram has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 38931. In 2023, it decreased to 31336. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from
47444 to 10103 for OBC 121045 to 4524 for SC 135188 to 1507 for ST 45980 to 5121 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

One can take admission to M.Tech programme at NIT Mizoram through common counselling for M.Tech (CCMT) after qualifying GATE. If seats remain vacant after GATE qualified candidates, admission can be given to non-GATE candidates through Institute admission procedure.
