"Shiksha.com Mentioned Delhi Technological University when I Searched for Chemical Engineering," says Sarthak

I was greatly influenced by the Delhi Technological University's placement rate in the previous years when I was reading the material on Shiksha.com's page of this university.

What made me choose Delhi Technological University

I chose chemical engineering because I wanted to work in the pharmaceutical, polymer, or petroleum and fuel industries. I used Shiksha.com to find out information about institutions. Everything is included in the information, from the fee schedule to the campus and placements. I didn't receive a high rank and hence was unable to grab a seat in a reputable university. The following year, I put a lot of effort into getting a seat at the Institute of Chemical Engineering (Mumbai), which was my dream college. But once more, I didn't score enough, and as a result, I was unable to find a spot in ICT Mumbai. Delhi Technological University was mentioned on Shiksha.com when I looked for the top universities for chemical engineering. I tried to secure a seat at Delhi Technological University after failing to secure a spot in my desired college and was successful in receiving admission there. I was greatly influenced by the Delhi Technological University's placement rate in the previous years when I was reading the material on Shiksha.com's page of this university. The college has done a fantastic job of placing graduates, even chemical engineers. The highest salary was INR 22 lakhs per year for the chemical engineering sector, which is a great package.

I will be graduating from my college in the year 2025. The college is situated at Bawana Rd, Shahabad Daulatpur Village, Rohini, New Delhi, Delhi 110042. I travel to my college via metro and then complete the further distance by E-Rickshaws.

Chemical Engineering was my Choice of Study, Since I was in the Ninth Grade

I struggled in science and mathematics when I was in the ninth grade. My tutor, who taught me these two courses, gave me a firm foundation in them and made me enjoy them while studying. I had already made up my mind to major in science at that time, and because I had a strong interest in chemistry, I wished to study chemical engineering. I was always eager to know what these medicines or sometimes fuels are made of and what they can do till I was in 11th grade. Nonetheless, there was a growing issue with oceanic plastic garbage when I was in college. I started to lean slightly toward polymers after that. I wanted to do something to safeguard nature from the harm that plastic may wreak. That is how I learned about my aspirations and objectives. I'm currently in my second year. I haven't put in enough effort toward my goal, but I will do so over the next few years. Due to their excellent support for students, I'll also try to publish a research paper with the assistance of my professors.

Was the Decision of Taking This Course, Correct?

The friends I made in college, who have supported me throughout my college life, are among the memories that I cherish the most and are even close to my heart. The college festivals enhanced my recollections because I thoroughly liked them, and I enjoyed it with my friends. The festivals brought in a tonne of talented musicians, stand-up comedians, vocalists, etc. Vilen, Samay Raina, Rahul Dua, Amit Trivedi, DG Immortals, Sunidhi Chauhan, Nucleya, and others are a few of them.

There were also inter-department sporting events, in which I took part in Cricket and assisted my team twice reaching the semi-finals. One of the finest things that have ever happened to me in my life is participating in these sporting events.

Since I don't know about other branches, the faculty in my branch is encouraging and constantly pushes us to accomplish amazing things. It’s like if they are professors, they have already done Ph.D. and have at least ten to fifteen years of experience, which is a great milestone. The campus is also big and has grounds and courts for every sport. The laboratories present are well equipped, and this also helped me to learn the difficult theoretical concepts with ease via these experiments. All of these things, make me feel that the decision of taking chemical engineering and that too in Delhi Technological University is definitely correct.
