Bachelor of Journalism (BJ) is a 3-year undergraduate programme. It is important for candidates to know about the Bachelor of Journalism admission process and Bachelor of Journalism Entrance exams in order to secure admission in their preferred Bachelor of Journalism colleges. Bachelor of Journalism can be pursued in regular as well as distance mode in India.

Before enrolling into any Bachelor of Journalism College, candidates must check if the college is approved by either DEB or AICTE or UGC. Many Bachelor of Journalism colleges admit students based on their 12th standard marks. Candidates can also get Bachelor of Journalism admission through entrance exams such as JMI, IIMC, ACJ, GMCET and many more entrance exams.

  • BJ Admission based on Merit
  • BJ Admission through Entrance exams

Step-wise Bachelor of Journalism Admission Procedure

Candidates can follow this step-wise procedure while seeking admission in Bachelor of Journalism college through entrance exam.

Step 1: Check for the release of Bachelor of Journalism Entrance exam notification.

Step 2: On release of the notification, start registration by filling in the online application form on the official website of Bachelor of Journalism Entrance Exams or on Bachelor of Journalism College website.

Step 3: Upload the necessary documents in the accepted formats.

Step 4: Complete the registration by making fee payment.

Step 5: Once the admit card is released, download it and take a printout.

Step 6: Appear for the Bachelor of Journalism Entrance Exam. Carry the admit card and required documents with you

Step 7: Once the results are released check for the Bachelor of Journalism cut off of various colleges.
