JEE Advanced 2016 results was announced on June 12. With this, the list and names of JEE Advanced 2016 All India Rank holders too were declared on the official website. In 2016, around 1,47,678 candidates appeared for JEE Advanced. Out of these, as many as 36,566 cleared the entrance exam. According to the official website, 31,996 test takers were male while 4,570 were female candidates.
This year, Aman Bansal from Jaipur has secured an All India Rank (AIR) 1 in JEE Advanced 2016. The second and third places have been bagged by Bhavesh Dhingra(AIR 2) from Yamuna Nagar and Kunal Goyal from Jaipur(AIR 3)respectively.

JEE Advanced has two papers. Each paper has 3 parts (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and each part has four sections. Every section has a particular marking scheme. As per the later paper pattern, the marking scheme in each of these sections are as follows:
