My perspective on college.
Placements: Around 80%-85% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is between 5 LPA and 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Accenture, and Airbus. Top roles offered are assistant software engineer and tester.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is not available for students, but it is available for any other work.
Labs are decent. Some are very old, but some are modern. Classrooms are good. Library is good for course-related Studies. I do not use hostel so I have no proper knowledge about it.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They help students in their studies. Course curriculum is outdated they don't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult to clear. We have to study very hard for it. Pass percentage is more than 40% in semester exams.

College is among the top ten private colleges in Kolkata.
Placements: Placement is around 90 percent in the Computer Science department and around 70 percent in other departments. The highest package is 10 LPA, the average is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 3.36 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, PwC, EY, and HCL visit the campus every year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, the lab is good and big, classrooms are neat and clean with projectors for presentations, and the library is big with lots of books. The quality of food in the hostel is not good, but medical facilities are good. There is no playground available for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is not so good. I would say that students don't get prepared for the industry by the college; rather, they have to prepare themselves. The toughness of the semester exam is average. Anyone can pass if they study one month before the exam.
Other: B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is the most demanding course at present, and most students get jobs in this course. A tech fest is held every year. Students get a scholarship of 60k every year through the Swami Vivekananda scholarship.

Overall Good college to get into
Placements: This year from our college a good no of students are placed. Almost 60% students are placed from computer science batch. Many well known company like Nomura, PwC, E&Y came to our college and hired freshers. Highest package was given by Airbus of 12LPA.
Infrastructure: BPPIMT classrooms are good. Labs are air conditioned. We also have a large library that provides a peaceful environment to study or to do the assignments. I may not be able to provide the exact details of the hostels and their mess and canteen service as I have not stayed there.
Faculty: Most of the teachers of our department are quite helpful and they try to teach us as much as they can. We do have four internals according to our university and teachers are also helpful as they provide notes before the exams and also provide suggestions.
Other: Glad to choose this course as it helped me to gain enough relevant knowledge. One thing that doesn't match the expectation is the college campus. The college campus should have been made larger.

Average college with no campus life but good in academics.
Placements: To get into the college, one has to give the WBJEE, JEE MAINS, or JELET exam. About 60% of our students get placed. The average package of our college is about 4 lakhs per annum, and the highest package was about 13 lakhs per annum last year. Our top recruiting companies are PWC and TCS.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our college are good. But the college is really small, having 3 blocks. The classrooms are comfortable and spacious. The food in the canteen is average. But the college hostel is very bad. The food is inedible and unhygenic. The rooms are very small and cramped.
Faculty: The college faculty is very good. They are very helpful and highly qualified. The teaching quality is good; we have remedial classes every week for doubt clearing. We have a total of 4 class tests for theory and 2 practicum tests every semester. We have a total of 8 semesters. About 50% of students pass in every semester.
Other: The college is very small with no playground. We have a fest named ELIXIR, which takes place once in every 4 year. And every year there is a sports events having football, cricket, volleyball, handball, etc.

Placements: About 75% of students got placed in our course. As I have heard, the highest salary package offered is about 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, IBM, Accenture, etc. No internships are provided at our college, especially in management, startups, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good but not too much. Facilities available like Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, and Library are good and useful in many things. Hostel facility is not good, though some of my fellow friends stay there. Since the college is located in a prime area, the hostel does not run properly.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and knowledgeable, as all of them are M.Tech qualified with good experience. They are interactive and helpful in many things.Not all the things we study in this course help in any industry. Exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge and experience in the new technology of AI. There is nothing particular about this course, we can gain experience while working on case studies, and the rest we have to learn from the material. Syllabus covers all the necessary subjects, but it would be great to remove subjects that are irrelevant to this course. Scholarships are provided. Our college organizes events, fests, and extracurricular activities. Campus crowd, connectivity, and surroundings of the campus are good with great vibes.

The chances are too low of getting BP Poddar College for B.Tech in computer science engineering (CSE) with the rank of 33172 in WBJEE 2018 but you can try through counselling. It is not fixed that you will get. Best of luck for your future and if any query feel free to ask.

Sorry to say, but with just 81 marks there are no colleges that will give you admission to CSE branch.
However, you can try for private colleges that offer admission based on class 12th percentage.
