A journey through NITK.
Placements: In my batch, there were about 110 students in my department. Around 80-85% were placed, and the rest went on to pursue higher education. The highest salary package was around 40 LPA, and the average package was around 8-10 LPA. Top companies like Samsung, Qualcomm, Amazon, and Flipkart recruited students from our batch. However, fewer students were selected for internships than for placements, with each company taking fewer than 10 interns.
Infrastructure: NITK has good infrastructure, including clean hostels, a well-equipped library, and good labs. The classrooms are spacious, and some have a beach view. The food is good, and we can choose between a vegetarian or non-vegetarian mess. The college has most sports facilities, including two playgrounds.
Faculty: The faculty are highly skilled, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant if we work in the core sector according to our chosen graduation department. The semester exams are usually moderate to tough, but the pass percentage is high.
Other: I chose this course because I was told that it would help me enter either the hardware or software field. The course is already the best, and I don't think anything needs to be improved. However, the subjects in a few semesters need to be adjusted properly to avoid overloading students. There are many events throughout the year, including two big festivals: one for cultural events and the other for engineering and technology. There are also many sports festivals and other events. The campus is near the beach and close to many tourist destinations. Scholarships are available to eligible students. All kinds of extracurricular activities, such as sports and dance, are available.

A look into NITK - great place to study and have fun.
Placements: Around 85% of the students were placed, with around 6% going for Masters. The highest package was 64 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. Top companies that recruit are Amazon, AWS, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm, Nvidia, DeShaw, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostels are separate for boys and girls. Girls hostel has newer blocks and is very good. A little bit of an issue with Wi-Fi and internet at times, but usually it's good. The college has a reading room, gym, basketball court, and a lot of open space to walk around.
Faculty: As ECE is not present in top IITs, the best professors specialising in this field come to NITK. The course curriculum is very good, and the labs are very helpful. Teachers are friendly and provide good projects and guidance. Teaching is also very helpful for core ECE placements.
Other: This is the only university campus with a private each, and the each is very clean and well maintained. Lighthouse is also there. We have 2 huge fests every year—one cultural and one technical. Apart from that, we have multiple events throughout the year, almost every week. Amazing place to study and have fun.

A Review of NIT Surathkal - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: In our course, on average, nearly 90% of the students get placed every year. In this academic year, the highest package was 54 LPA and the lowest was around 8 LPA. Many MNCs come to the campus to recruit students; some of them are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, Ola, etc. All of the students might not get on-campus internships, but around 80% of the students do.
Infrastructure: The ECE Department has well-equipped labs with modern electronic equipment and Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms with projectors and blackboards. There's also a central library with a vast collection and a dedicated ECE section. Hostel life features some clean and basic hostels with laundry facilities and a common room. There's a healthcare center with qualified medical staff, sports facilities, and a swimming pool.
Faculty: The professors at NITK are highly qualified. Many have PhDs in their respective fields. The course curriculum is constantly reviewed and updated to stay relevant to the latest advancements in the field of ECE. The exams will be challenging, and the minimum pass percentage will be 20%, but it varies with the respective proof.

Overall, our college provides a conducive environment for professional development.
Placements: About 98 percent of the students got placed from our course, with average salaries ranging from 8 LPA to 34 LPA. Big companies like Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Qualcolmm, ARM, and Samsung Semiconductor India to name a few are the top recruiting companies for our course. About 30 percent including M. Teach studnets secured internship in these companies. Most of them were hire as Hardware or Digital Design Engineers.
Infrastructure: Our department benefits from robust LAN supplies and excellent labs. Although the classrooms are obsolete, they are sufficient to accommodate a batch. There are two libraries on the campus. The hostels are somewhat old in structure, and all the hostels have their own night canteens. There is a Central Health Care Centre on the campus for anytime emergencies, equipped with an ambulance. We have a large playground on our campus and inter NIT championship are held each year.
Faculty: Some teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Talking of myself, I personally faced a lot of difficulties because the teaching pedagogy is not good here. The course curriculum was indeed relevant for the hiring companies. The focus area in the college is more on theory for some faculty members, but some emphasis the implementation of the theory.

Review by TEJAS SINGH, ECE NITK.
Placements: Almost 99 percent of students from the ECE branch got placed in the last three years. The highest package is 52 lacs per annum, the average is 23.75 lacs per annum, the medium is 22 lacs per annum and the lowest is 8 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Adobe, Wall Smart, Airtel, Jio, Oracle, Cisco, Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, Citi India, Well Fargo, De Shaw, etc. Almost 75 percent of students get internships every year at companies like Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Jio, Wall Smart, De Shaw and many more. The top roles are software developer, analyst, and core engineer.
Infrastructure: In the first year, students are allotted triple-sharing rooms with a single fan in the room and a separate study table and bed. On the whole campus, students can get access to wi-fi in their rooms; there are separate LAN connections for each student. Labs are well-equipped with all instruments. We have two libraries: one is central and the other is an e-library. E-library is open from 9 to 1 o'clock at night for study all days of the week. Mess food is quite good, hygienic and acceptable. Night canteens and food courts, Nescafe, Nandini, and the general store are also available on campus. There are two sports fields on the campus, along with one indoor sports complex. Volleyball and basketball courts are also available on campus. On campus, there are also gym facilities.
Faculty: Teachers or professors are helpful and they also guide students in doing some projects. Most of them are highly qualified from top IITs and NITs. The teaching quality is good and it is a good combination of theory and lab classes. Yes, this course is highly relevant to the communication, telecommunication, and circuital industries and prepares students for these industries. It is not difficult to pass the semester exam if you are regularly attending the classes and listening to the professor properly because the questions are set by the professor itself. The passing percentage is 20 to 30 percent, according to the difficulty level of the subject.
Other: I chose this course at this college because of its placement records and NIRF ranking, and I am also interested in this branch. It is truly based on telecommunication technology. I want to improve some of the subjects in the first semester and second semester that are totally irrelevant to the course. Incident and Engineer are the two major festivals of the college. The campus is not too crowded; almost 5000 to 6,000 students live there. The campus is connected to all modes of transport. Fests Wavier is also available in the college based on family income.

If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
