We get great experience in college.
Placements: We have got almost 397 offers from various IT companies. Many of our seniors were placed at TCS, QBurst, Wipro, Tata Elxi, etc. The highest salary package given was 4.5 LPA. Placements in core companies especially for mechanical engineering are non-existent in our college.
Infrastructure: We have all the labs required and all the equipment is in working condition. Every classroom has a large-screen TV for better presentation. The library is average. Most of the time, the books we need may not be there. The hostel is decent. The mess facilities are average. The bathrooms and toilets are periodically cleaned, so there are no issues there. We have a basketball court and a volleyball court on our hostel premises. The warden is very cooperative, and there is no time restriction for students to enter the hostel. It is only applicable to boys. The campus is beautiful. We have two basketball courts, indoor courts for badminton and table tennis, a very large football ground and also an in-house gym, which has the best and the newest equipment.
Faculty: Most of our teachers are very cooperative. We are not stressed out by our teachers, and each student is left to study for themselves. Most of our teachers teach very well and make sure that every student understands, but like most government colleges, a few of our teachers are very hard to get through. The curriculum is outdated. We follow the KTU syllabus and our faculty members say it needs updation. Students are industry-ready after this course only if they self-study extensively. The semester exams are easy to moderate. 60 students out of 74 passed in every subject in our class.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering to get into the automobile industry, and the best thing about this course is the lab sessions. The lab sessions are great fun, especially the machinery lab. We have Explore, which is our cultural fest, which we did not get because of COVID. The year before I joined, they hosted Sunburn and Progressive Brothers. There are also various clubs here for every student's liking and my personal favourite is the SAE club. Our campus is very political in nature, so students with political aptitude will thrive here. Various activities are frequently organised in our college and every student will get to showcase their talents.

I am satisfied because of its faculty members, placements, and good facilities.
Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed in various companies like Wipro, TCS, Byjus, Infosys, QBurst, Cognizant, etc. The average salary package offered ranges from 3.6 LPA - 7 LPA. As compared to the previous year placements percentage increased this year.
Infrastructure: This college provides basic infrastructures, well-developed classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled 24X7, and a computerized high-tech library with around 25000 books. This college canteen was also there on the campus. The laboratories had all the required machinery.
Faculty: Teachers were very friendly, and helpful. Most faculty members had Ph.D. qualifications, some faculty had industrial experience. The course curriculum was very relevant. The old syllabus was updated by this university and the syllabus was very relevant. The semester was difficult. The pass percentage was around 75%.

Campus life is good with the best infrastructure, teachers, high ROI and average placements.
Placements: Placements are good. Most of the companies are from the IT sector. TCS is recruiting more than 70% of the students in campus placements. For mechanical engineering, only some core companies like MRF and VKC visited here for campus placements. From the 2017 mechanical batch, 10 students got shortlisted for recruitment, and 1 student got selected. The salary offered was around Rs. 50,000 per month. Compulsory internships weren't a part of the curriculum, but students were required to attend a week of industrial training in any company as they wish.
Infrastructure: The college has a wide campus with a lush green environment. There are proper blocks for each stream of engineering with well-established laboratories and workshops. The campus further invested in its infrastructure and got NBA accreditation in 2017 for EEE, ME, CE and ECE courses. Hostel facilities are outside the main campus. The ladies' hostel is only 200 meters from our college's main entrance, and the men's hostel is 1.5 km away from the college. Bus facilities are provided for both day scholars and hostellers to come to college. The mess and canteen provide decent quality food, and a food fest is conducted in the hostel at least twice a month.
Faculty: All the faculty members are PhD holders for the mechanical department and almost all other departments as well. Teachers have proper knowledge of the subject which they are teaching. The teaching methodology includes both theory part and practical-oriented teaching. The course content was updated after 2017 when KTU came into place, and now the curriculum is more relevant to today's world and is helpful in making students industry-ready.
Other: Scholarships are available for all, and our college also helps students to get their deserved scholarships. Fests are conducted every year. A particular fest is repeated in alternative years. Our college is located close to NIFT, so students have exposure to not only the students from their own campus but also from other students from NIFT and other colleges in the vicinity.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The college provides very few placements compared to other colleges. The only company which recruits is TCS. They recruit from all branches based on programming skills. Mechanical has very few opportunities compared to other branches. Internships are not provided to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Students are provided with 24 hours of Wi-Fi access and smart classrooms. Each classroom is provided with projectors and screen. Good quality food at a cheap rate is provided in the college hostel. There is huge ground, and many intercollege games are conducted here. The basketball court is also available for playing basketball.
Faculty: Teachers have good knowledge and ready to help students at any time. Teachers take classes very systematically. I don't think the course curriculum is relevant, but some changes are made from this academic year. So I think it will increase relevance.
Other: Scholarships are provided for economically and socially backward students. Many events are conducted in college every year. Techfests, arts day, sports day, festival celebrations, batch day, association day and many other programs are conducted. Politics is not that active in our college due to the dominance of the party. They suppress others, and elections are not conducted here.
