Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

Other eligibility criteria
Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

Placements: In our batch, most of the students get placed in core and software companies. Some of the top recruiting software companies are Excel Crop, Bonbloc, Bahwan Cyber Tek, TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. The highest salary package offered ranges from 4.5 LPA to 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting core companies are Fldec and Qmax.
Infrastructure: Our management provides all the necessary facilities like well-equipped laboratories, department libraries, van facilities, hostel facilities, etc. They provide good quality food in the canteen. Our college gives equal importance to both academic and sports.

Placements: Around 70 percent of students get placed in good company in our courses. In college total, we have 4 departments UG courses and PG courses. In our college SC and first graduate have fees benefit in students. More than 80% if you have then you will get an internship in good companies. In our college, the Biomedical engineering course is the main course.
Infrastructure: We have a very good infrastructure in our college. There is neatness in classrooms. In labs, we have all the equipment for all the experiments. We have a good library in our college. In our college, we are provided with food for hostel students. In the canteen outside food is not allowed for students, health is very important.
Faculty: We have excellent professors in our college. The teaching quality is very excellent in our college. Teachers are very helpful. The odd semester exam paper is difficult but if you study properly you can get a good percentage in exams. Teachers care for the student like a friend on the campus and outside the campus. They help the student if they have any problems.
Other: I study in the ECE department at Alpha Engineering college. By doing this course we can go to core industry and IT companies also. We are conducting many technical courses in our college that benefit the development of student skills.
