The infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: Our college gives us good placement facilities. 90% of students get placed. It tries to give every possible facility which can help us to be prepared for placements. Many companies come to our college and recruit many students. Our college does best for us.
Infrastructure: I am from the biotechnology department. Our professors are so helpful. The biotechnology department is one of the best courses provided by our college. BIT is the only college under Makaut University which offered B.Tech in biotechnology. Our college has no hostel.
Faculty: Teachers of BIT are so helpful and many teachers have Ph.D. They motivate us to do our best. Teachers encourage us to take part in every event. They inspire us, they guide us. They are concerned about every student and give special attention to everyone.
Other: Our fests are great. BIT's techfest is called as Bits2Bytes and the cultural fest is known as Impulse. Our fresher's programme (Lithium) is really fun.

Great teachers and placements but bad infrastructures and too far away from the main city.
Placements: Sales associates, Cloud engineer, Senior Cloud associates roles were offered. No internship provided for biotech students. The highest package 15 LPA and the lowest package 3 LPA. E and y, TCS, amazon, itc infotech, zifo, Cognizant and other top companies offered internships. Only 15% of students are offered jobs.
Infrastructure: The canteen is bad, food is too oily and unhygienic, no hostel available and only one football field available. The quality of food is yuck and disgusting. It is very unhygienic and oily. Classrooms are okay and clean Wi-Fi not available for students and people.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and friendly. They provide good knowledge and take classes daily with attendance registers. Labs are okay. Semester exams are moderate and the course does make students industry ready and provide good training but not for biotechnology.

Our college provides the best Biotechnology college in Kolkata.
Placements: Around 23 students out of 26 got placed and some opt for higher studies and got placements in foreign universities. Around 4 students got placed in Keka technologies, 1 student placed in Zomato, 1 student placed in Zifo Pharmaceuticals R&D, and 1 student placed in Accenture, 1 student placed in Amazon, and 1 student placed in Unschool. Universities like Vellore Institute of Technology, SRM University, Masters program in Munich, Germany, University of York, Coventry University of Westminster, University of Liverpool, and the University of Maryland. Top recruiter is Zifo. They take only 1 student from biotech.
Infrastructure: There is an entire building for our department separately with labs and classrooms. Every classroom does not have air-conditioners. Classrooms are spacious. This building doesn't have Wi-Fi. Library is well maintained. Labs are well furnished with working equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Students feel very comfortable while interacting with teachers. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us ready for everything. Semester exams are taken by MAKAUT and are moderately difficult. Every biotech student pass with good grades.
Other: Students can choose this course if they love Biology. The best thing about our course is genetics. This course is at a growing stage. Biotech firms will be a major industry in the coming years because of the technical advancements. We have freshers, tech fest, bits2bytes, and cultural fest Impulse and sports, especially football.

This college is more than just about Engineering.
Placements: Almost 75 percent of students got placed before completing final year. The highest package is somewhere around 9LPA. The Average package is around 4.5LPA. The top recruiters are PWC, Accenture, IBM, Keka, CTS and TCS. Internships were done by almost all students from my course in different biotechnology or Medicine or Pharma companies .
Infrastructure: The college ha very good libraries, there are two different libraries. The Wi-Fi connection is weak. No hostel facility is provided in the college. The college has pretty good equipped labs for different subjects and requirements. Physics, Microbiology labs and Computer labs are available. The biotech labs have all the kinds of fermentation equipment needed for studying .
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders here. Apart from being teachers, they are also very good guides for your projects and research papers. Despite being a Tier 2 Engineering college the placement cell takes utmost care when it comes to students and making them ready for what the companies demand - Be it coding or aptitude preparation. The syllabus is in sync with the current Technical requirements of the industry and prepared a student for the future .
Other: We have both Technical and cultural fests but they are a rare for engineering colleges. Apart from placements, there is a lot of scope for higher studies and OG exams such as GATE and NET. Research paper publication is encouraged too .

It is a home in Bengal away from my home.
Placements: The placements are pretty decent. More companies come for IT, CSE, and ECE streams. The companies like TCS, IGATE, IBM, Amazon, etc., comes with the highest package ranging from 10 lacs per annum to 3.14 lacs per annum. The college needs to work on getting more companies for Biotechnology.
Infrastructure: The campus is not that big, and it has two departments, one for biotech and other for rest of the disciplinaries. It is spread across the small area but has great facilities like the major one being the library which has a great collection of books on various topics. The college has student activity centre which focuses on extracurricular and other activities.
Faculty: The faculty has a very homely touch, and professors have great and deep knowledge of the subjects. Special classes, special attention is always given to the students. The labs are well-equipped with good technical labs, etc. There is a good scope to improve the structure and add more to it like class projectors, etc.
