Review of Bengal Institute of Technology- second year.
Placements: Placements are good at an 80% placement rate. Last three years the highest salary package offered was 12LPA and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Students who are actually serious about their careers get placed easily. There were companies like TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is divided into two buildings, one is the first year's building which is about km apart from the main building which is also the faculty building. Although both buildings have facilities like canteen, common rooms, etc. There are no hostels, students from far away stay in meshes and PGs. Labs are well equipped there's no complaint about them there are always atleast three teachers present during labs.
Faculty: The semester exams are held by MAKAUT, which is the university we operate under. The minimum pass criteria is 40% which a consistent student can crack easily. Courses are relevant which are CSE, ECE, and AIML IT. Teachers are very well-qualified and welcoming.
Other: My course is very relevant for the market and best thing is its diversity. I wish there were more depth to the course into deeper topics while keeping the basics priority. Our College has excellent events like freshers, annual fest, teach fests, etc. All government scholarships are available here.

Engineering life in college .
Placements: Recently, placement or hiring is down all over India. Our college was also affected. But due to its Under Techno Group placement going decent, around 80% were placed (those got a chance to sit in placement). The highest placement offer was nearly about 12 LPA. The lowest is around 3.3 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, HCL Tech, Infosys, etc., and sales companies are also coming for hiring.
Infrastructure: The facilities that are being offered by the college are good. Computer lab is nicely working. Labs are well-functioning ones. Infrastructure is not so bad but above average. Anybody can easily do his/her degree without any regret. And there is not such a particular hostel of college. But you will get PGs near campus.
Faculty: Faculty are well qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. But some of them are really supportive and caring. They are always ready to guide you. The teaching style of some faculty members is so good that I can't compare it. But when you talk about generally, I will rate my faculty 7/10. Curriculum and exams are being organized by MAKAUT. The curriculum and exam rules are followed in our college. Semester exam clearing depends upon your preparation.
Other: I am very fascinated about this course. But mostly students pick this course as just for graduation. This is not for those students. Through this course, you can pick your most desirable passion, which means this one. One can pick cloud computing, AI and ML, blockchain, etc. in the upcoming semester. Better/improvement should be done in curriculum. Our curriculum is totally based on 20 years+ back. It should be changed. Events like the fests are good. In our area, our fest is famous. Campus crowd is not much. Total students should be >500+. Connectivity is not such a problem. It's a well-connected road and service, and all other things are good.

Average college. Great for those students who don't want a crowd or competition.
Placements: Basically, 30 to 40 percent of students got placed this year. The top companies that visit our college include Flipkart, TCS Digital, Cognizant, and Wipro. The highest package this year is ₹15 LPA, and the average package is ₹5-6 LPA. Many students pursue M.Tech courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. The library, playground, common room, and canteen are all available. Our college doesn’t offer any hostels, but it does have well-decorated labs and free Wi-Fi for students. Indoor and outdoor games are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, or you could say average. Students can prepare for their placements from the college. Semester exams are not very difficult; the college helps students prepare for the semester and provides important study resources. Teachers are very friendly here.

Honestly Bit is a decent college.
Placements: Approximately 73% of students are placed in the Computer Science and Engineering course, with the highest CTC and lowest CTC being 12 LPA and 3 LPA, respectively. The average CTC is 4 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and many such companies have visited. No college provides internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities are decent, but the infrastructure of this college is not good. Our college has no hostels, but there are many PGs available in the area. Our college organizes lots of games, like cricket, football, carrom tournaments, etc. Our canteen is also good.
Faculty: The teachers and the whole faculty are really helpful and knowledgeable enough. Besides studies, our college conducts different types of seminars. Our college exam level is moderate because our exams are conducted by MAKAUT University. The pass percentage is 85%.
Other: My batch is good. I pursued CSE because I have a lot of interest in this course. Also, the CSE branch has a lot of job opportunities, hehe, this is another reason to pursue this course. Our college provides a fresher's party and cultural and tech fest, which is good enough.

Absolutely dissatisfied of value for money, but good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 70% students were placed in 2024. The highest package was 12 Lacs per annum and the lowest package was 3 Lacs per annum, while the average package was about 4-5 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies were Tcs and ibm. About 40% students got internship from our course in TCS, cognizant and ibm.
Infrastructure: All the places including class and conference hall has Wi-Fi facilities. The classrooms are well maintained and library has enormous books to read. In hostel, the food are quite good and hygienic. Quality of food available in message and canteen is awesome, and there are many sports facilities like cricket, football and basketball.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is satisfactory. The course is not that much relevant and it not at all make the students industry ready. The semester exams are average in toughness level. And the passing percentage is 35.
Other: I choose the course because computer Science and engineering is the most evolving field in today's generation. The best things about our course is that, the placement package is the highest. The things that could be better is the curriculum and to make the subjects industry related.
