  • Candidates need to pass Class 12 standard or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • Have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects as well as Chemistry or Biology as optional subjects.
  • Have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% in their qualifying exam if they are from the general category. However, reserved category candidates have to secure a minimum aggregate of 40%.

BIT Sindri is a better college than other private colleges. It is the best for the top four branches
Placements: I am in the BTech branch of Electrical Engineering at BIT Sindri. This college has a placement rate of approximately 85%, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Infosys, Google, Mahindra, Tata, IBM, and Wipro. Most students in my college get internships. The top roles offered include web developer, mining, and assistant developer.
Infrastructure: The college area is large, and almost all facilities are available. BIT Sindri also has a girls' hostel and library facilities. For sports, there is a playground for cricket, football, etc. Labs, classrooms, and canteens are all available. Overall, all facilities are available in the college.
Faculty: The faculty is also very helpful and responsible. All teachers teach well. They are qualified, knowledgeable, and trained. The teaching quality is good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The semester exams are of medium difficulty, and the pass percentage is thirty-three marks out of a hundred.
Other: I chose this course because I felt it is a good branch in a good college. This course is helpful for the industry. There is no need to improve anything in college; all facilities are available. Events like fests are held, and scholarships like Ekalyan are also provided.

Good college with great placements.
Placements: Since I am an electrical engineering student, here this year, about 90% of students got their placements in different companies. The recruiting companies are Samsung, D.E. Shaw, Google, Tata Steel, Yamaha, etc. So it is a good college to take admission to, in my opinion.
Infrastructure: Our facilities are very good. Here, different types of workshops are also available. As for mechanical engineering, there are foundries, smithies, carpentry, etc. For graphics, here are the siemens labs present. Our mess food is, we can say, above average. For sports, the sports club is here.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our college so if you want to take admission in college you can take it. In this college the course is good in all aspects. Our course makes us industry-ready in all aspects so it is good to take admission.
Other: I chose the electrical engineering course because I liked it. Also, in our college, the placement of electrical branches is very high.

The insight of BIT SINDRI DHANBAD.
Placements: In last year around 75-80 percent got placed in our college. The highest package was of 50 LPA from de Shaw company and lower was 3.25 LPA from TCS Top recruiting companies were AMAZON, samsung, Google, Microsoft, TCS, vedanta, tata steel, reliance 60-70 percent students gets internship in various companies like tata steel isro, drdo, tata steel .
Infrastructure: Basic facilities are provided in our college. Wi-Fi are available in Library and some Important places. Our college has many labs because it's established in 1949 The hostel is nice basic facilities are provided meal is not great but can be eaten We have a ground for playing sports.
Faculty: Many teachers are Ph.D. holder from IIT and highly qualified. Our college follows JUT RANCHI curriculum and it's very relevant to industry demand. The semester exam are moderate. The exams are held regularly and attendance of 75 percent is compulsory in our college.
Other: Our college is very affordable and placement is very nice in core branches and alumni network is very vast. The campus is very large spread over 480 acre .

Placements: Around 95-100% of students got placed in our college with the highest salary package of 50 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Vedanta, Tata Steel, Samsung, Aditya Birla, etc. Almost 50% of students got internships. The lowest salary package offered for the mining branch is 16 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college is spread over 450 acres of land. Our college provides good infrastructure. All hostels are well-constructed with an attached mess. The quality of the food in the mess is average. Our college has a separate playground for boys and girls. It has labs with the latest equipment.
Faculty: All professors are well-qualified. They have 20 years of teaching experience. They are supportive. They support us in every field. Semester exams are not much difficult. All students can pass by studying one night before exams. The pass percentage of students is 95%.

Q:   How can I get admission to BTech at BIT Sindri?

A: 

BIT Sindri admission to BTech programme is based on JEE Main score. Candidates selected based on JEE Main score have to come for JEECE Counselling. JEECE counselling is held online. Registered and eligible candidates will have to participate in the JEECE counselling process for admissions into the BTech courses offered by the participating institutes of the state. Since there is no entrance exam, the admissions will be done based on the candidate's JEE Main scores.

Q:   What is the JEECE application fee?

A: 

During the JEECE application process, the candidates will have to pay the required application fee. For the General/EWS/BC-1/BC-2 category candidates, the JEECE application fee is INR 500. However, for SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories, the application fee is INR 250. Candidates will have to pay the application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of application will be accepted.

For BIT Sindri you should at least get 93 percentile to be on the safe side as last year the admission was done on the basis of marks/percentile obtained in JEE Mains.
