A good college for students who scored ranks above 10,000 in WBJEE.
Placements: Placements for ECE and electrical departments are good. The college provides placement opportunities in mass recruiting companies. However, there are a lot of placements in other domains like technical and finance sectors. Companies like Amazon, Collabera, XL Dynamics, etc., visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides awesome highspeed free Wi-Fi facility. The computer labs are quite good, especially the new DBMS labs. There is a separate building for the first year students. The college provides a bus transportation facility to commute to college. The college also provides hostel facilitiese. There are both cricket and football grounds, and there is a common room to play carrom board, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are of really good quality. Some of the teachers including the HODs were the best. Faculty members and HODs are from IITs and NITs. Hence those subjects are taught really well. An ample number of papers are published in well-known journals every year. Students from this institute crack GATE/PSUs every year.
Other: The college conducts freshers' party and annual sports fest. The crowd is pretty diverse.

My college is best in this world.
Placements: In my batch, 2012-2016, the students got very poor placements. 40% of the students are placed. The highest salary was Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month and the average salary was Rs. 14,000 per month. More fake companies are visiting the campus. Tech Mahindra and some vendor companies visited the campus. The companies offered a role as a trainee engineer. Almost all the students got the internship offer, but no stipend is provided. The college has a placement cell.
Infrastructure: The college has no Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are mostly good. The library is good. The medical facilities are good. The sports and game are neither good nor bad. The lab quality is not good. The classrooms are in good condition. The food quality is not bad, but we are eating it. I don't stay in the hostel, so I don't know anything about the information regarding the hostel facility. I did not face any issue related to the infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. M.Tech, PhD and B.Tech qualified teachers are there, and they are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The teaching methods included body language also. I did not get any industry exposure, but I don't know present condition regarding the industry exposure.
Other: The college has no events. I got only one fest in my college life. The campus crowd is very good. The campus is very big and in good condition. The connectivity is good. The campus surrounding is good. The scholarship is good, and many students got it. The extracurricular activities are good, for example, football.

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: Around 70 to 80 percent students were placed during 2015-2016. The highest salary offered was Rs. 4.8 LPA and the minimum package was 1 LPA. There are many companies like IBM, Amazon, Bharat Electric, Tech Mahindra, etc. that visited the campus. I got an internship from college and that was at Haldia Petrochemical, and the stipend was Rs. 5000.
Infrastructure: Here, you can get all the facilities an engineering college should have, like high-speed Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, sports & games. Electrical labs are based on the latest technology and so many new machines are placed. The hostel is behind the college. The hostel rooms are clean and well decorated having sufficient beds and water facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members were truly said to be very helpful. Sometimes they behaved like a friend. We were really tensed for the semester exams, but then they gave us support for the exams. Some faculty members were not good though. They were inconsiderate. HODs were really talented, cool-minded, and experienced professionals.
Other: I can say only one thing- just keep your study continuous and don't hesitate to ask anything that you did not understand. The surroundings are really creamy and the grounds are large. In the first year, the urban students will have a problem in adjusting to the surroundings but there are bus facilities from Kolkata.
