We are satisfied with our college, but I think college fees are high.
Placements: Around 80 to 90% of students got placed. The minimum salary package offered ranges between 8 LPA to 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 49 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, etc., offer jobs and internships to students. System design, software application, and embedded systems are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Everything is good at CBIT College, but the buildings are always under construction. The availability of Wi-Fi is less efficient for mobile but good for computers in laboratories. The library at CBIT is well-designed and has lots of different books for many courses. There is no college hostel for girls in CBIT. Many games and sports are conducted in our college. The labs are also good and we get enough time there.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us well and they are helpful to us. Subjects are relevant to our path. The semester-end exams are moderately difficult.
Other: Every year in February last week we celebrate our college fests named Sudhee and Sruthi. Sudhee is a technical fest. On the day of Sudhee, the poster presentations, technical paper presentations, technical project/prototype presentations, etc., are conducted. Sruthi is a cultural fest.

My college experience till date.
Placements: Placements for CSE and IT students are pretty good. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed with a salary package of 4.5 LPA. For core students, placements can be better as they can shift towards IT jobs.
Infrastructure: The college has a 55-acre campus with large sports facilities, multiple blocks for each branch, a department with labs, and decent infrastructure. The hostel is about 500 meters away from the college, and the rooms are very good. The food is average in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members for the most part are very supportive and knowledgeable. They help students in all aspects and the classes are interactive when students are really interested. The course curriculum follows a traditional approach of basic subjects moving on to more advanced subjects.
