It is a good government college with a low fee, and it is located in a prime location in Chandigarh.
Placements: Most ECE and CSE students get placed here. The highest salary package offered is around 15 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Companies like Cent, Godrej, Infosys, Wipro, Webmob, etc., visit here. Most students get internship opportunities. The college has a training and placement cell for placements.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi facilities, digital classrooms, a library, etc. It has proper lab facilities for our course. Labs are also good. The hostel facilities are decent, with very low fees. The hostel has a vegetarian mess. It serves decent food.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Many seniors are studying in core fields. Exams are pretty exhausting, but they are good for us. Teachers try to teach us as well as they can.

Ccet is a government college but with poor infrastructure.
Placements: Out of 70 students, only 10-12 students get placed. The highest packed is 13 Lacs. Companies like Gemini solutions come for placement. College don't help with placement and internship. No extra activities are done in college to improve our cv. College is just focusing on studies & even those are also not that good.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of the college is not good & even though there isn't any AC in the class, and even in labs, AC is not working. No actual area for extra activities. Classroom conditions are okay. The Canteen or cafeteria is not there in the college. And No established area for parking. The Only basketball court is there is not in good condition.
Faculty: Teachers are okay, And only a few teachers are there who focus on studies and support other activities. Some teachers don't even know how to teach. They treat us like school students. Keep on pointing out students based on different things. Treat us like kids. Semesters are fine, but some teachers don't like giving marks to teachers. Course curriculum doesn't make the students industry ready.

CCET-26 is a good government college for engineering.
Placements: You need to work on your own with TPC cell for placements and work on your skills. Companies don't even come here to offer free/paid internships or placements. You can work on your own to get off-campus placements. You need to start preparing from the 3rd year at least, for government exams or IT companies.
Infrastructure: The administration and faculty are a concern. Hostels are good and need more sanitation and facilities. The boys' hostel needs renovation. I don't know about the girls' hostel. The canteen could be better.
Faculty: The curriculum needs to be revised. The faculty members are good. But students need to improve themselves at every step. Students need to follow extra NPTEL/open courses to follow their engineering passion. The library timings could be revised from 9 am-5 pm. The college needs to focus more on sports and games.

Great campus life, poor management.
Placements: About 50% of the students got placed in my course. Students of my course were allowed to sit in placement of IT companies which included local startups to MNCs like Quarks, Infosys. The package ranged from 3lpa to 6lpa. There were a couple of companies which also hired for Electronics role and offered a package ranging 3-4lpa.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was good. Classrooms were decent. Library was a bit inadequate. Hostels were not good. You can't expect much from the hostel considering that this is a government college. Mess food was fine. Canteen was okayish. Medical facilities were almost non existent. Sports and games were fine. There's a large ground inside the campus where different games were organized.
Faculty: Only a handful of teachers were helpful. Only about 15-20% of the students opted to pursue career in electronics, so can't comment on the relevancy of the course in making industry ready for a career in electronics and communication. The overall teacher quality varied drastically from teacher to teacher.

I am satisfied with faculty members, facilities, infrastructure and good placements in 2019.
Placements: In our college, approximately 90% of the students from CSE and ECE departments got placed this year in companies like Gemini, EY, Infosys, Jaro Education, Godrej, Jugnoo, etc. The average salary package offered is around 7-8 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Around 60% of the students were offered an internship from ECE in companies like Jugnoo, Jaro, Gemini, etc. The top recruiter company for our course is Infosys. It is offering a job to 40% of the students of our stream.
Infrastructure: Though it is a government college, it offers good facilities like high-speed Wi-Fi everywhere inside the college campus. The library has a vast set of books which are not only based on the curriculum but also other books like novels. Classrooms are well-maintained as walls are whitewashed for every 2 years, and the floors are cleaned every day. Labs also have all the equipment, and all the facilities are available for that particular lab. Since I am not a hosteller, I don't know about hostel rooms, but the food served in the mess and canteen is not that good quality. Our college offers sports facilities, and we have a basketball court, football court, volleyball court. We also have facilities to play cricket. Medical facilities are also provided, and a doctor is available all the time in the medical room. Overall, the college offers almost all the facilities which are required in a good engineering college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified, and most of them are PhD holders. Students are able to learn very well in the lectures and labs. Students also get an opportunity to perform practically from what they have learned in lectures. They are capable of working in industry after passing out of our college if they attend classes and labs regularly. Teachers here are very helpful, and students are welcomed by them even if it is not the lecture time. Thus, the college offers quality education.
Other: I have chosen ECE because it has been said that ECE is the most difficult branch of engineering and I like to go for difficult tasks and challenges. This course is very interesting as it makes us know how we are able to communicate through mobile phones and what is inside electronic devices. The college should improve the course as we are not able to perform practically for most of the things which we study theoretically and without performing. It is just cramming type of a thing. If students are made to perform practically, they will be able to learn more. Events such as the college fest named Apratim is held in October every week where all the students in the college can take part, take responsibilities and learn a lot of new things. It will enhance their communication skills. It is always a big event, and students are able to enjoy a lot. The college offers a scholarship for the top 6 students of the class. Almost 100% of scholarships are provided for the top 3 students and 50% for the next 3 students. College surroundings are very good, and there are parks, markets, other schools and colleges also. The college often conducts co-curricular activities for every 2-3 weeks.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
