The eligibility criteria for admission to BCT&CA at the Culinary Academy of India is given below:
1. Age:
All candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of commencement of the course.

I. All candidates must have passed the 10+2 scheme approved by Osmania University, Hyderabad with a minimum aggregate score of 50% in any stream.
II. Candidates who have appeared for Intermediate (10 + 2) or 12th standard examination or its equivalent may apply for the BCT & CA course. However, admission is subject to clearing the exam.
3. Language:
Candidates for whom English is not the medium of instruction must demonstrate competency in English and communication during the selection procedure.
4. International Applicants:
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and foreign national students should submit all relevant documents along with the course application. The process of admission for these students will be handled by the Dean of Foreign Affairs, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
Additionally, The selection process includes an All India Entrance Examination, a group discussion round and an individual interview - all held at the Brand CAI premises in Hyderabad only.
Only 60 candidates will be enrolled each year in June.
