Deshbandhu College- A review by Aryan.
Placements: Around 35 percent of the students got placement in 2022, which included 507 students out of 1420 and the median package for UG students was 4.17 LPA and for PG students was 5.35 LPA.
The top recruiting companies in our field were Amazon, IBM, Asian Paints, Uber, Genpact, etc.
Infrastructure: The library of our college is rich in terms of books and it is also well-equipped with other basic amenities. Classrooms have well-organized desks along with a green or blackboard.
Our college has a separate ground for volleyball, archery, and kabaddi, and there is also a separate society for each of the above sports.
Faculty: I opted for Political Science Hons and the faculty in our college are well qualified and have teaching experience spanning over 20 years. The student-teacher ratio is around 70:1.
Most of the faculty members have graduated from University of Delhi itself. The semester exams are completely based on the syllabus and the questions are mostly of a moderate level.

Will not suggest you to go with this college.
Placements: At Deshbandhu College, you do not have any placement opportunities as this college is under Delhi University so you are at the wrong place. If you were planning to go for placement, Actually, Deshbandhu College does not have a placement department. The campus is, by the way, beautiful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of political courses is amazing. You have a hall for debate where debate competitions keeps happening every time The buildings are so good, complete with wifi and the hostel facilities are too good. Mess food is also delicious.
Faculty: The faculty are so trustworthy and genuine that they are always ready to help, especially Mr. Jagannath, sir of political science. Sir, it will make you feel like a politician. Sir is amazing. Sir is too helpful. Really, faculty members are genuine. They are so good.

Happy with my college in terms of faculty, infrastructure or the facilities that are given to us.
Placements: No placement is provided in my course as it is B.A. (H) Political Science. Students prefer the civil service examination. More than 70% of internships are provided to my course students. It is a government-based internship.
Infrastructure: Regarding the facilities provided to my course, they are some of the best in the college. Wi-Fi is available in college, classrooms are well-equipped and the library has a large number of books regarding the course and subjects, along with a proper sitting area. Even the library of Deshbandhu College is the best in the whole university. No hostel is in Deshbandhu College and labs are not required for Political Science Hons.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable and most of them hold Ph.D. degrees. The curriculum that we are taught is relevant for the preparation of the Civil Service Examination. The semester exam is average and sometimes difficult as well. Basically, it depends on the preparation of the student.

Overall, our college is one of the best colleges of DU.
Placements: If I talk about placements in my course, they're not that good. But in other departments, there is a good scope of placements. Deserving students get placements in well-respected and renowned companies. Some departments also provide internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Smart classrooms, laboratories, seminar halls, auditoriums, a library, a canteen, a cafeteria, and many more things are there in the college. The food available in the canteen is worth every penny, and if I talk about the library, our college library is one of the largest libraries at DU.
Faculty: We are blessed with facilities and personnel who are knowledgeable, well educated, and experienced as well. Each and every teacher is so supportive. They give their full efforts for the betterment of the students. The focus is on the overall development of students.
Other: Campus crowd is good.

Deshbandhu college NIRF ranking 26th as of 2022.
Placements: My course was B.A. Hons Political Science, In my course, there was no placement. Because of the technicalities, of course. There were no jobs for this course, although you can apply for an internship in the placement cell. They organized a few drives for placement for other courses. The average package of Deshbandhu college could be better.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were good, clean and quite spacious. The college is not that big, but it has everything a student needs, like drinking water, Wi-Fi, and a library. The library of Deshbandhu college is one of the most extensive libraries at Delhi university. They even have an online portal for books. The labs are good and newly built. The college has two canteens, and both are good for hangout.
Faculty: The teachers are excellent and knowledgeable. They have the experience and quality to teach students. They know their topics and subject very well. The semester exam is easy. You can easily score good marks if you have studied a little bit or listened to your professor. The passing percentage of our college is 33%.
Other: Crowd is good location of college is also good.
