The best and the worst of Dyal Singh.
Placements: Our batch is 2020-24. I am in B.Com. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG, EY, and Genpact. They are mass hiring companies. Internships that are provided are mostly in sales. The stipend offered is Rs. 5,000-10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite great. It is one of the biggest colleges in comparison to the area in Delhi University. All facilities are available including labs and Wi-Fi but it is a bit old. However, there is a newly built building as well. The ground is very big when it comes to sports. The canteen also provides decent food.
Faculty: Faculty members are great and helpful. They have immense knowledge related to their subjects. They are easily accessible through WhatsApp groups and classroom classes. Semester exams are held every 6 months and the difficulty level is moderately difficult.

Dyal Singh College: A Good College.
Placements: Hello Everyone, My name is Amrit Raj and I'm doing B.Com at Dyal Singh College, South Campus, DU. In my course, almost 75 - 80 % of students get placed in companies like Accenture, Genpact, and many more. The maximum package that a student secured in my course is 36 Lacs per annum and the average is around 5.6 or 5.7 Lacs per annum. Companies that visited our campus for placement and internships provided us with different types of roles like audit assistant, business development executive, finance & marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: My college has computer labs, physics labs, chemistry labs, biology labs & mathematics labs. Our classrooms are a mixture of good and bad classrooms as it is a very old college, so its old classrooms are not much better. Wi-Fi only works near the library area and in the library.
Faculty: Our Department of Commerce has a group of 39 teachers, whose head is Jasleen Kaur. All teachers were very supportive in nature and tried to teach students as well as they could. For the industry, I believe that students had to do a lot of hard work besides the course to get ready for industrial work. It can be achieved by doing internships & certification courses, which were provided by our placement cell.
Other: The most interesting part about my college is that their evening classes also run in the morning time, which sounds different from all colleges in the University of Delhi.

Satisfied because the cutoff is not too high and the faculty and atmosphere are good.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is around 30–40 percent, which is not so high for 2022-23. The highest package offered has been 36 LPA. The average package was 5.7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Chegg, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential, DE Shaw, Amazon, and TCS. The top roles offered are business development and sales, operations, finance and investment banking, human resources, and graphic and digital marketing.
Infrastructure: It is high time that college buildings are renovated. Classroom conditions are pathetic; benches are rusted and broken. The labs and library are up-to-date. The hostel is currently in progress, but it has been stopped due to a dispute between Morning and Evening Colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, and the quality is okay. The course curriculum is according to the new education policy, which is quite good, offering various courses other than the chosen course. Yes, courses make the industry ready. Semester exams are at a moderate level. The pass percentage is 40 percent.

I am satisfied with this college because college infrastructure and crowd is too good .
Placements: Placements are excellent and expected to improve further this year. Last year's highest package was 32 LPA, and it seems likely to increase. The placement society is decent, though sometimes not very supportive. Companies like the Big 4 regularly visit the campus, which is a significant advantage for students.
Infrastructure: The course structure is impressive, and as a B.Com program student, I can confidently say this is one of the best colleges in South Campus. The campus offers Wi-Fi, and the library is excellent with highly supportive staff. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and every building has two water coolers for students' convenience.
Faculty: The faculty is generally helpful and provides quality education to students. However, a few teachers are less supportive and sometimes fail to understand students' concerns. The B.Com program curriculum is relevant, teaching practical skills like Tally, which prepares students for corporate jobs.
Other: I chose this college because its placement opportunities are far better than other South Campus colleges, except for Venky. However, I feel some teachers, especially for AEC and GE subjects, need to be more supportive. The college hosts various events, and the overall crowd is excellent, with no distinction between evening and morning batches. Scholarships are offered to students, and extracurricular activities are regularly organized, contributing to a vibrant campus life.

College review of DAYAL SINGH .
Placements: About 60% of students who apply get placed. Mainly, startups come for recruitment and a few other companies, like banks, ICICI Bank, Big 4, etc., come mainly for sales jobs. The top roles offered are in HR and audit, while other common roles are BDA, sales or commission-based.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and well maintained. Teachers and faculty are also nice and helpful. The Wi-Fi is good inside the campus. The library is big and AC works here. Sports facilities are provided. The college grounds are large, and students participate in a few sports such as cricket and football.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful if asked for help. They seem to be well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is the same throughout DU. There are 6 semesters, and exams are as per the standards set by the DU. Usually, the pass percentage of students is 95% or higher.
Other: Crowd is okay. The rest depends on the group.

No, you cannot take entrepreneurship in best four and if you do so you would have to deduct 2.5% from your score. Calculate your percentage by both including and excluding entrepreneurship and then see from which method you score high.
