Good college of South campus. Except the crowd, everything is nice.
Placements: Good placement companies with the highest package of 7 LPA. The placement cell of the morning and evening college works great. They do have tie-ups with a lot of companies and offer jobs for almost all courses, from English Hons to B.Com. to Science—everything!
Infrastructure: A huge college with huge grounds. Canteen is good too. Classes are very spacious. The amphitheater is the highlight of the college and is well known for its infrastructure. It is one of the best colleges on the south campus. The location is too good, and you can access it all over Delhi.
Faculty: Excellent teachers and overall faculty. Everyone is very friendly and open to all your doubts or questions related or not related to your classes. They build a very comfortable space for everyone and engage a lot with the students in all aspects of life.
Other: College societies and fests are amazing.

My college review by Mehjabeen Hussain.
Placements: Placement of the college is good, as the cell offers internships and placements from companies like Terra Motors, Bajaj, EY, and Myntra. The highest package was 23.5 LPA for placements and 50,000 for internships during the internship fair. Students of English Honors, History Honors, Political Science, and the B.A. program are offered job profiles such as HR Intern, Content Intern, Marketing Intern, and Social Media Intern.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Yes, we do have Wi-Fi, a library, and a playground. Unfortunately, we don't have any hostel facilities, but you can find PGs nearby the college, and the best locations would be Lajpat Nagar and South Ex, as they are the closest to our college.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers at Dyal Singh College are very helpful; they conduct online sessions before exams to clear doubts. Teachers also conduct internal assessments and continuous assessments to keep a check on our knowledge, which helps us make our notes simultaneously.
Other: The crowd at the college is average, and there are extracurricular activities and seminar sessions conducted to bring awareness among students.

Dyal Singh College is a good college with a decent crowd and the best campus.
Placements: The percentile scores in my course were good, with the highest possibly reaching 14 LPA and the lowest around 3 LPA or lower. I do not have much knowledge about this topic. Many good companies have visited, but I don't have all the details. It's obvious that you need a score of at least 9 and above to secure placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but some areas might need improvements. The library and staff are good, but the canteen needs some changes. Wi-Fi is not available, but everything else is okay. NCC is very active at Dyal Singh College, and there's ample space for sports due to the large campus area.
Faculty: The course does not necessarily make one industry-ready. Semester exams are at a moderate level. As you know, a 7 CGPA is considered below average or even poor. The teaching staff is amazing, with well-qualified and knowledgeable teachers providing the best teaching qualities and their experience.
Other: As you appear in CUET, you are not accountable for the course given to you, but the course is actually not bad.

There are many career opportunities in this college. The placement record is great.
Placements: B.A. English with honors has good placement and provides professional skills. Recruitment companies are HCL, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Media Houses, etc. If we talk about packages, the lowest is 4 Lacs and the highest is around 8 Lacs. Around 70% of students got internship opportunities as well.
Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is good; a library, classrooms, and lab facilities are available. My college hostel facility is available for both males and females, with all the basic requirements in the room. The canteen is good; breakfast is there and other lunches and dinners are also provided. The taste is also good.
Faculty: B.A. English honors faculty is experienced, and all teachers are qualified from well-known places. We are also involved in research work and all faculty are also very supportive. If we talk about teaching quality learning, sessions, activities like GD, etc., including assignments and project work, are there.
Other: In my course, many clubs are there; they also focus on activities, which is very good. The crowd is fine; the college has a very supportive environment.

Review of Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi.
Placements: The placement cell for language subjects should be increased as we have 1 LPA annually and we have very few companies that come for the English department. So, the number of companies should be increased. Also, many students avoid placement because the companies are not as good as they thought!
Infrastructure: Courses are widely available, and moreover, students are satisfied, but hostel facilities are not there, which is a drawback. Many students face hostel problems, and hostels are something we all want to experience at least once, so the college should have one at least for girls and boys. The canteen food is not very tasty, but it's okay. Sports are widely available in college, but they should improve the basketball games, like making a better court.
Faculty: I would suggest students be part of the DSC college department. Professors are very nice, and they teach very well. The faculty is good compared to other colleges, and the exam pattern is decent, so it's a nice experience to be part of DSC.
Other: The college should take action against the fights and caste system that are prevalent on campus and improve the festival organizing team so that we can enjoy the festival!

After DU declares the cut-off list, a candidate needs to take admission within 3 days, if he fails to do so, the seat will be allotted to the next candidate.
